Where is this shades of grey stuff in Origins, I must have missed that part. The Darkspawn were a clear evil enemy, as what Loghain, who you had no reason to spare, unless you were doing some serious meta gaming.

While I happen to agree on Loghain here are an awful lot of people who post here regularly that would strongly disagree with you.  Everything in Orzammar is grey.  The Redcliffe situation is grey unless you metagame and know that you can safely leave and come back.  The Dark Ritual may be grey, depending on how you see Morrigan.

One of those people being myself...I spared and had little issue with him without metagaming. Once I started though, it pretty much strengthend my opinion of him. This isn't the thread to argue about it though, so....

I'm not very interested in Orlais actually....mostly sick of dealing with things related to it. I'd like to visit Tevinter or Par Vollen though as first choices. Next would be Rivain, Nevarra, and the Anderfels.

Going back to Ferelden or seeing more of the Free Marches would be nice, but I'd rather see some of the more different places we've heard so much about. ^_^

Edit: putting commas in the right places.

I would have been interested in a game set in Orlais if I had been playing my Ferelden Wardens. I'm sure the Ferelden-Orlais conflict is not the *only* conflict going on in Orlais, but meh, I'd prefer playing someone with an origin in Tevinter. I'd love to see Minrathous. Whatever conflict of interest is going on in Orlais, I hope is just covered in the upcoming DA novel. (I hate that the Orlesian accents bother me so much, but they just do).

Anderfels. Personal bias. I'll admit it.

Anderfels or Orlais to see more of the inner workings of the Warden nation or of the great Empire.

Nevarra for me, Cumberland and the college after the mage uprising would be great. Anderfels sounds really interesting as well and Weisshaupt and the Grey Warden Fortress would be awesome to explore but I gotta go with Nevarra, dragon hunters!!!

Hey now, while it's all but been put in stone DA 3 will be in Orlais, that doesn't mean we won't see a DA 2 expansion pack, or even extended DLC, in another area. Personally, I'd love to see Antiva, though not for very long, seeing as staying there more than 5 minutes can get you assassinated. In an ideal world, the expansion would take place the Anderfels, and there'd be a Legacy length DLC in Tevinter. Come on, tell me they couldn't make an awesome "free these slaves" that runs you through a few spots in Tevinter. And god knows they've come to us enough, I'd like to bring the fight to them for once. Par Vollen, while it sounds like it could be beautiful scenery, doesn't interest me plot wise. Sten was cool and all (sort of), but the Qunari culture without the chantry attempting to sabotage it would be, well, pretty boring. And somehow, I get the feeling the Dragon Age saga won't finish without us seeing Weisshaupt.

Either Orlais or the REST of the Free Marches, preferably in the same way we were exposed to Ferelden.

Tevinter would be interesting.

Truth be told, however, I'm something of a Ferelden patriot, if you will. Wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I think now that we kind of know we're heading to Orlais, I'll check that one off the list.

After that: Par Vollen. I want to see the whole of Qunari culture. And hang out with Sten again.
And the Anderfels. Sounds like a harsh place. I imagine kind of like the Wild west with barren landscapes. And Nevarra seems interesting to me.

My thing with  Tevinter  is that I want a break from crazy mages. Right now, it's at the bottom of my list.

Would be cool if Sten joined your party and you actually got to play a Qunari or Tal-Voshath (sp)?

I'd like to see the Anderfels. It really doesn't matter to me where they take DA next.

Tevinter. Or Orlais. But Tevinter. After hearing Fenris paint how Tevinter is, and of how I love the mage class, it could be quite interesting. A once great empire and civilization crumbled by a crusade. ... That must have some serious cultural change, no?

It's highly likely we'll be going to orlais in the next game, but if  I had could have my pick. Rivain or Tevinter.

Personally I despise Tevinter on a moral basis HOWEVER, thei tevinter magister's knowledge is what interests me, if we take into account all the blood sacrifices and killing that goes on over there how in god's name do they keep the veil intact? If there is some form of spell or technique that they use to keep the veil strong regardless of what they're doing then it is indeed worth investigating, not to mention how old tevinter managed to keep its mages from becoming possessed wilst controlling large numbers of demons.

As for Rivain, i'm interested in the seers there. They allow themselves to become possessed by spirits willingly mind you, if that's the case how do they keep themselves from going insane like anders? Or becoming a danger to the people around them?

I'm not so much interested  in places, but the people that reside there and how they accomplish what they do.
It could change a lot in the way of the circle system if we could find out some answers. I'm not holding onto hope though, but still it'd definetly be worth going to either.

Possible Locations

Anderfels
Tevinter Imperium
Seheron
Par Vollen
Rivain
Orlais
Nevarra
Antiva
More of the Free Marches
The Donarks
The Dales
The Tirashan

which do you want the next DA to take place in?

I like the idea of your character choosing whether or not to help a slave rebellion, doing so sacrificing resources/time needed for main quest but without your help they have a greatly increased chance of failure.

Rivain!

It is the most interesting place we've heard about so far. I also want to go to Isabela's homelands.

Orlais and Ferelden-it'd be interesting to see if my Warden and Anora ever established that Golden Age, and what Orlais would try and do to prevent it. At least, before Bioware put the Warden in a black hole.
