1. More weapon diversity. Branch out the types of weapons used. Flails, Maces, Spears, hammers. And hand to hand as a specilization.(Utha sounded awesome in The Calling)

2. A larger selection of romances. Having four or five different choices is nice. But personally I'd like more. Also NPCs be available as options rather than just squadmates.

3. A Free Play mode after you've completed the main story. Kinda like how you can wander around in ME2 if Shepard survives the Suicide Mission

4. The ability to alternate between the dialogue wheel(DAII) and a list of speech options(DA:O) during conversations. Protagonist can still talk, but I feel like I was able to say more in origins even though the hero was silent.

5. Different types of gameplay and controls during certain situations or different weapons. Like third person fighting when using a sword or other close ranged weapon and first person when using bows and projectile magic

6. Minigames. The DA games have drinking, sex, violence, so why not have gambling games? Like cards or even a medieval style casino where people can gamble and make money?

7. More choices at character creation. I know you can already customize your character quite a bit but why not add jewelry and other accesories? Also be able to set things like your character's age and their starting gear.

I aggree with having a free play mode after you complete the main story. Here is some things I would like with some of them complementing your suggestions.

1. Choice in who you play. 1. Play as Warden. 2. Play as Hawke. 3. Play as new character. With new character bring race selection back including Qunari. Have those 3 start off in different areas.

2. Not just set it in Orlais or Fereldan but have us visit more places like Tevinter. Make it bigger than once city.

3. Romance. Maybe have 1 or 2 npc you can romance with rather than being stuck with just your companions.

4. classes. Expand more. Separate Rogue so you have a separate Archer/Hunter class with you being able to have a pet again. Same for Mages separate into classes Elemental and Blood Mage classes and again being able to have pets.

1) Would like to go back to being able to play different races with different origins, as DA2 back story was somewhat limiting, and I enjoyed role playing the different back stories and then allowing that to influence my decisions and conversations throughout the rest.
2) Restore some of the class options that were omitted from DA2, particularly with mage and warrior, because if against blood magic - no choice because only 2 other options, if not a sadist then reaver is ruled out, so again no choice because only 2 other options. Yet taking Templar for a vehemently pro mage person did seem rather a strange choice because where would you learn it from? Mind you using Templars own powers against them did have a nice sense of irony.
I did miss the Ranger class for my rogue as I used it alot in Origins but was able to manage with the others, without wondering how I could justify my choice.
3) Have the option of a nice, normal romance with someone who you can actually have intelligent debate with if you have differing philosophy on life, where you don't have to wait around for a flag to tell you to go talk to them before the romance can advance and where, if you have second thoughts, you do have the option of breaking up and going back to a former love or someone new, as in Origins, not just sleep with them once and then immediately dump them in order for other romances to be possible.
4) Being able to chat with companions on the trail rather than just in specific places, again as in Origins. After a particularly difficult battle but still mid way through a quest, it was nice to chill briefly with companions generally, even if romance conversations are conducted back at camp.

Okay I like some these alot ... especailly that   weapons  I would also like to see some armor vairity as well - instead of the  warriors just wearing heavy  plate.

1. More weapons more Armor - which leads to  having a more diverse skill tree both games were very boring and bland when it come to skills trees.   Higher lvl cap  -  I am not playing D&D i am playing  Dragon Age... make it your own game Bioware.

2. World varity and detail - not  art detial but actually details  - why Elves are so big,    laws of Magic -  akin to laws of physics.

3.  Even more that just a free to play mode - Open that map and world let me travel to places on foot instead of quick travel being mandatory. A New Game+ with harder enemies and more challenging encounters - or some form of  that.

4. Toggle  between dialogue  Wheel and  List I can get with - its a comprimise. I prefer the wheel, you prefer  list - we got the option for both.

5. More refined combat - DA 2 was  a small step in the right direction but it still needs alot of work.  Oh and for the love of all that is holy hide the spawns of ememies better - Opening of the map well help with that.

6.  Minigames -  minigames that give bonuses are GREAT!!!.

7.  More hair styles, more tatoo styles,  jewelry  etc etc,  More armor and clothing styles  give this world some diveristy.

Also to add on to my #2, bring back the actual sex scenes and get rid of the digital underwear. You don't have to show anything but whole small clothes during the scenes in Origins reminds me of how they used to censor nudity in anime

There are a lot of things that could be done to make DA3 better. Some of it may revolve around available equipment and/or races and locations. However, I can say that I have an idea about what they should remove... That is that stupid turn-based combat. I'm not sure anything in either game annoyed me more than seeing an enemy loading up for an attack... I get out the way of said attack (say 20ft. or so)... They swing and still I get hit and injured. I'm not sure anything annoyed me more than that. This and those frickin' heat-seeking, DNA specific projectiles and arrows. These easily rank up there with the most annoying, immersion-killing aspects of the games.

Honestly, the level of work that would be required to track all the choices of both returning characters and satisfactorily change the game accordingly could probably make another game in an of themselves.  That is simply an unreasonable idea.  Multiple origins are hard enough without doing what Origins did and fuse them all into the character of the Warden.

That's kinda like asking for dragons to appear, yeah I want them to appear but it's so likely that they are going to appear that it's not even worth asking. I mean Thedas has it's problems but it's at very least a LGBT (well maybe not the T since transsexuals seem limited to **** houses and dates with Seneschal Bran) friendly place to live, unless your an elf then it might be a bit of a problem.

One thing I'd also like to see is the ability to "chew out" a companion or NPC. For instance I would have loved the opportunity to "remind" Alistair about who our allies were and chew him out for comments he made to Wynne and Morrigan. Certainly, in DAII, Fenris and others deserved a good "talking to" for things they said to Merrill. They may not like each other for various reasons, but if he/she is your love interest... Who would stand by and let them do that to anyone you care about? Likewise, snarky, disrespectful comments from NPC's justifies (in some cases) a retort of some kind. Yes, I know the companion themselves often responded, but I would have liked the opportunity as the de-facto leader, to remind them that we're all on the same side and we should keep our personal opinions to ourselves.

1. More variety in the sort of male LI's available. How about someone who's NOT suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder for a change?

2. The chance to play as something other than human. I miss being an elf. I miss being a dwarf.

3. The chance to have my rogues be able to use both bow and knife. The ability to switch back and forth as we did in Origins.

4. The chance to dress my companions in all that lovely armor I bought.

5. A deep integrating story that provokes as much heated discussion as the Loghain and Anders storylines did.

6. Romances that are meaningful, have depth, and have more than two or three encounters to them over the course of ten years.

1) dual weilding for warriors. Give it back!

2) more romance, more Cullen!

3) more diverse looking armor. I hate the robes in DA and DA2. Sheesh, even the dresses are recycled. Give us good looking armor and clothing.

4) give us a vanity slot so we can put armor that we like the way it looks of, but we've outgrown it or something.

5) more customizable weapons/armor choices. Instead of you deciding what bonuses or stats to put on a weapon, why can't we have runes, or etching (Enchantments!) that allows us to do this. If I want a dex weapon that swings 0.25% faster and deals +2 damage, I want that to be because I chose those customizable options myself, not be given a weapon that has this or that and thats all I can have unless it has enchantment slots. Building my toons my way and not being force to carbon copy everyone else would be awesome. You were kinda on track with awakenings, but you could only choose like CON or WILL. :/

6) Quests that are more streamline, instead of opening your map and seeing about 80 quests to achieve, think about the logical progression of your quests and determine sub quests that fit into that role. Doing companion wuests is cool, but it should make sense and be triggered by something, other than rolling over an approval rating, or seeing a rare flower in a field.

7) DA sparks so much imagination that people enjoy being the characters, not just playing them. This is why DA is so successful. People are invested in the characters of the game. In DA:O alone, I spent countless hours talking to my people to get to know them. It was fun to hear their stories and put a finger on their personalities. Thats why people never forget Alistair, or Zevran, Leliana, or Morigan, or Wynne, or Ohgren, or shale, or dog. My beloved dog who loved me for being me. *hugs* It comes as no surprise that we will also want to see more development into the romantic aspects of the companions.

It makes no sense that you can be a templar, when you specifically say its a closely guarded chantry secret, yet its one of only three specializations in DA2 (made sense in DA:O, surely, but not DA2) and not have a rivalry gain with Anders when you spout of your new Templaric abilities. Or, if you become a blood mage, that should be a deal breaker with Anders and Fenris, period. But its not. Take these things into consideration when dealing with character interactions.

And please give us more Cullen, with a peppering of Jowan.

This was explained.  Apparently the writers did most if not all the writing before the specializations had been settled upon.

I just don't want DA to fall into Fable territory. I enjoyed both games, but there is something silly and hokey about Fable's  mini-games and being able to romance everyone and all the fuss over clothing customization.

1. Real hair. This is a fantasy game, why can't my mage have long flowing locks? Why does it look plastic?
2. More impact. I want to be able to make choices again.
3. Give the male and female playable characters some differences. It takes more effort, but will feel more satisfying and encourage playthroughs with each sex.
4. More character interaction. I want to be able to talk to my LI more than once in a blue moon!

I think Griffons will be Biowares new series called Griffon Age.

As we all know, dragons were thought extinct and then lo and behold, here they are.

But I like your line of thinking.

I would like to continue the Warden's story-if only to find out what happened after going into the mirror with Morrigan. That and I enjoyed playing Thorin Aeducan far more than I did playing Hawke. I like dwarves.

Bring back item descriptions! I actually enjoyed reading them, even if it was just a basic rundown of how crappy it is.

If we aren't playing Warden or Hawke, then bring back origins. And give us a good reason why the two greatest heroes of the age disappeared when they're needed most.

Give us more than two options when dealing with mages and templars. Let us join a faction, let us betray one faction to the other, or let us join the Qunari (Kossith or whatever) and destroy both sides. Or unite the two against the Qunari. Give us long lasting, meaningful options.

Give us good and bad people on each side, two or three we regularly interact with each side should be sufficient to represent larger sub-groups within each faction. That way if we kill one, there are more hanging out continuing the work we tried to interrupt.

More Corypheus or Orlesian whining ("Mine mine mine!")

Let us learn specializations from NPCs or companions again. Heck, even add side quests to each spec so in order to learn them, we have to work at it, and as we level up with it, we need more side-quests with it.

Mages need shape-shifting or Arcane Warriors again. Even if we have to drag the Amell warden back to teach someone.
