Am I the only one who thinks Ashley's new look is ugly?

I think her hair looks horrible, and her face seems to just plain look worse (or maybe that's just due to the hair).
I'm kind of curious if I'm alone in that opinion.

Wow, you've seen crap quality video and two screenshots and you had to make a topic about it.
I've seen a lot of good quality video and screenshots. Some of which came from the Ashley character thread in this subforum.

Yes, because a person's appearance reflects their personality.alex90c wrote...
I wouldn't say it was ugly at all, just not really in line with her personality.
Seriously, do you actually believe that?
Have none of you ever stopped to figure that the reason why she has had her hair in a bun until now is because, hey, she's in the military and adheres to military dress codes because that is expected of her, and that when off-duty (or in a position where she can make up the damn rules, such as when being a Spectre), she might want to keep her hair down and spruce herself up just because she f***ing can.
But no, it's not in line with her personality.

Only her new "armor" is horrible.
Thankfully, Bioware said she'll get an armor.

I always thought it was because she had enough common sense to realize that entering a potential battlefield with vision-obstructing hair is an incredibly stupid (not to mention easily preventable) tactical mistake.
Being a spectre is a pathetic justification for one to sacrifice combat viability for personal appeal in conflicts.

errr... yes actually it does.
Take Mordin for example - there are Salarian mercs in ME who wear heavier armour, but does Mordin wear the same stuff? No. BUT HE F***ING CAN. Sorry, no.
Mordin's outfit reflects his personality, just how Ashley's bun in ME1 is a bit of a reflection on her tomboyish nature.
But hell, maybe she should just dress up as a goth instead, because I mean... "she f***ing can"
Point is, I'm not saying I dislike Ashley's new look, just saying that I don't think it reflects her personality as well as the bun.

A persons physical appearance does not, but, I do say clothing does match a persons personality.

She has already been confirmed to wear armor and a helmet into combat.

I am fairly postive the helmet only applies for unsafe enviroments such as planets with toxic atmospheres, zero gravity, ect. Plus, non of the ME/ME2 crew wore helmets by default, so I assume the same will apply for the ME3 characters.
Anyways, Ashley wearing her hair loose is stupid even if she equips proper armor.

Yeah, no.
I have long hair and the mere act of cutting the grass is unbearable with loose hair. Besides, the picture above is a casual picture - they are not engaging the enemy, and the one on the right will undoubtedly pull her hair up like her companion if told to go on patrol in an potential warzone.
