Tasteful (ME1) I vastly prefer to PG-13 (ME2). This is an M-rated game, after all.

Like others have said, the independent feeling of the ME2 scenes with the sensuality of the ME1 scenes. That being said, I'm hoping the romance isn't just limited to one scene before the final mission. Everyone is going to be going through a lot during the game, especially Shepard. A hand on the shoulder, a smile, even a hug after a particularly horrible mission--let them comfort Shepard for once.

I'm hoping for a mix of ME1 tasteful cinematics and ME2 individuality.

Stylistically absolutely ME1. The lighting, the music, the camera work, it was all perfectly shot, but the thing I liked about some of the love scenes in ME2 was that the characters really changed because of it (Notably Tali gained confidence, Jack became less wary, and Thane finally let out the tears he's been holding back since his wife's death). If they could combine the ME1 style with the ME2 substance, the scenes would be perfect.

Bioware really should just hire Collider to do the love scenes, I think he'd really do them justice.

@Marshallek who's Collider?

Oh, and also, I remember reading some tweet where..(i don't know who, but) someone at BW was saying they talked to the designers about the "lil things".

This guy was reading something w/ his wife and rubbing her shoulder while they both read, and it occurred to him this was the kinda lil things the game needed. So, he talked to the designers about it and let them know he would love to see that in-game.

It would be very cool to see HBO-level sex scenes in Mass Effect 3, but I'm pretty sure that is impossible to happen. Especially seeing the trend of it in Bioware games.

Sometimes, you just have to be thankful that there are people who have too much time on their hands.

I remember hearing a tweet from one of the developers that the Mass Effect 3 Love scenes would be more "pants appropriate".

God knows that nobody in the Mass Effect universe can take off or change their clothes on camera so its either nude from the start or completely clothed while doing it.

It means more juvenile prudish dry-humping ala Dragon Age 2.

At this point it's pretty obvious FOX News has Bioware and/or EA scared ****less.

I'd like ME1-type scenes with ME2 variety and customization.

As IF that Fox News story decreased sales, c'mon, people don't boycott stuff when they hear "It has tons of hot sex!" :lol:

Hm:

jackelbeaver:

@CaseyDHudson speaking of romances, it bugged me that you have "pants on" scenes in me2, but they seem more like "pants off" scenes (weird?)

@CaseyDHudson:

@jackelbeaver #ME3 will be more pants-appropriate.

I think it might mean....another Fox News piece?

Most likely, that the 'sex scene' will black out as soon as your LI enters the room.  Even the pre-sex dialogue will not be shown, as it might be regarded as too 'raunchy'.

oh jeez why does the mere mention of Fox News make me want to puke?

And why is it that the only ones actually taking those blowhards seriously is Bioware?
