Loads of armor, swords etc. Most of it is good stuff with special unique bonuses etc. but is just not *quite* as good as what my characters have equipped. Is there any reason not to sell it all?

Do I get to carry my entire 110 item inventory (minus stuff gotten from DLC like Warden's Keep) into Awakenings?  Or should I just sell it all and do I get to carry the gold? Or neither?... in which case I wont bother messing with it at all.

Just sell everything you dont need, you will get better items very fast in awakening.

I sold practically everything before porting to Awakening. Extra gold is nice. Or you can donate the gold to your Origins army guys for XP.

There are certain items you want to make sure you port over to Awakenings-Master and Grandmaster Runes, and the books. I brought 3 skill increase books over to Awakenings so I could bring rune construction up to 3. You might also want to bring over some gifts to help with Oghren's approval.

Oh yes, what Mike Smith said. I took over all the extra gifts I could for Oghren and some GM Runes for Vigilance and other 'epic' craft items. Because making your own runes from scratch *really* sucks.

Don't forget to sell off DLC items such as Starfang because they don't port over to Awakening. The exceptions are the items from RtO - although you will find better stuff quickly as oblivionenss says.

Well, with money being so limited selling is often necessary. If you download some mod than gives you the chance for more quests and money (Quests and Legends, Winter Forge, ect) then it is not so important, and you can roleplay loot hoarding a bit.

I always keep in a chest (of course if you follow this path you should also download either Warden's Peak or the party chest mod to put loot!) things like Duncan's weapons, Maric's Sword, Calian's armor, the Origins plot items or the named treasures of Wardent's Keep -their RP sentimental/historical/political value is far greater than the money-

Only take what you need to equip to your new party, sell everything else.

Unless your a collector theres no reason to keep some of the gear you will never equip to someone and let it rot away in storage.

I don't know if it would work on the computer, but the Junk exploit will work on Awakenings as well as Origins on console. It doesn't take long at all to get gold anytime you need.
