I heard that the next season of Chuck is only 13 episodes and will be the last?
I been slowly watching it and currently on season 2 can anyone tell me if thats true and is it ending because they planned for it or are they getting cancelled?
Its true. NBC gave them a 13 episode season to wrap things up. Which was sporting of them with the change of managment, low ratings and other stuff. It nearly got cancelled the year prior, except that Subway saved the show. So thank Big Mike's eating habits for that. I believe they are also moving the show to Fridays. I'll miss it when its gone.
As for my list:
Firefly
Veronica Mars
Jack of All Trades

I realize that so long as Adam Baldwin continues getting good work they can cancel his shows all they want lol.
Adam Baldwin is great. Gina Torres (also from Firefly) is getting work on that new USA show Suits.

And how is that show...I swear everything seems like a boring legal or cop drama and the like.

Yes it is, but before that, it was almost cut after Series 2 (or during, rather). The producers managed to convince the BBC to run a 5 episode series 3 with a drastically smaller budget - and now they've managed to get into a deal with Starz that will let them continue the show for at least another single season. I guess it's future depends on whether US audiences really like it or not (I'm guessing not)

Its trying to be a Legal version of White Collar, and it mostly succeeds at that. The main character is faking being a lawyer without a law degree. He's got a photographic memory so he knows the law but gets tripped up by not realizing how the game is played. His mentor is a master game player, and the show focuses on their relationship.
Its fine, but I mostly watch it because I'm on the channel anyways that night to see Burn Notice.

The worst part about Caprica was that this was the one sci-fi show on the SyFy channel that actually seemed to have a well thought-out plot and direction. It's predecesor, BSG, was great and had amazing characters, and intensely dramatic situations. However, BSG, like pretty much all the SyFy channel series, had a plot that basically went nowhere and that nobody thought through ("and they have a plan" my ass). Caprica was different. It was more like ASoIaF than SG-A

The Unit- I listen to the theme song (the original drill call) on my mp3
Terminator SCC- also very bitter about this one
Arrested Development- WTF, America. Really, WTF. All the idiotic reality TV shows and this gets cut?

I was going to say BBC's run of Torchwood when I read the thread title. I don't dislike Mircale Day I just miss Tosh Owen and Ianto. In a very sarcastic way of thinking I'm just waiting for them to kill Jack off so the series can revolve around Black Hole Sue Gwen Cooper as it had been slowly becoming. Gwen's a great character but did everyone in Cardiff have to be hopelessly in love with her? Regardless of that very minor flaw its still one of my favorite shows.
Throwing Farscape into the mix knowing good and well it did itself a favor by ending when it did and then giving us The Peacekeeper Wars. I still use "Crakers don't matter!" as a definitive arguement.
Paul Dini/Bruce Timm's DC Animation run Batman TAS - JLU. I know it spans multiple series and the VA's continue to be attached to projects in other mediums but to have a creative team going from 92-(I want to say 06) and keeping it fresh throughout is something you really don't see. Dini himself said that the reason the original Batman (then had become The Adventures of Batman and Robin) only stopped production was that they had run out of new ideas and didn't want the show to suffer because of it.
Spectacular Spiderman. In my opinion the best rendition of Spidey on the small screen. The narrative, the characters, the voice acting, were all superb. Certainly a shame to see it go and have an Ultimate Spiderman series take its place. I can't say anything about the show preemptively but I think Marvel's Ultimate comics are some of the worse to have been printed to date. I'm also looking at you Brand New Day!

This isn't from the TV series, but this is the type of stuff they would do:
