Well, my Paragon main!Shep let them die. Don't know what she'd say to the new Council, since we don't know who they are or what they're like. Butcher!Shep's got a pretty simple one, though:

"I'm a little busy saving the galaxy - in no small part from your ineptitude - at the moment, but in deference to my Spectre status, you have exactly a hundred and eighty seconds to convince me you're worth more to me alive than the time and resources it would take for me to save you."

Shepard: Ah yes "The Citadel Council" The supposed wise and trust worthy leaders of Citadel Space, who claimed the Reapers were nothing more than a manipulation by Saren and are a myth at best. I have dismissed this claim.

Well iin my opinion if Shepard had one line to the council when the reapers show it show be "Well guess mass panic is the least of your problems now."
