where is heal? glyphs? fireball and cone of cold are fantastic. and also, since going down that line, century of the storm combo will be good since you have spell might. virulent walking bomb also a good choice but tricky to use.
I don't think blood mages can use healing magic.

Sleep -- which can be cast in a second or two -- is also a good spell to use as a delaying tactic when the actual spell you want to use takes a relatively long time to cast.

you still need heal. you can deactivate blood magic to use heal in case your health gets too low. also heal is excellent be it for you or your companion. use blood sacrifice on your companion and heal them back.

Why Blood Mage works so well with Keeper.

I'd probably add a few crowd control-type spells: Sleep, Mass Paralysis, Waking Nightmare.

Depends on your character type/style. Hes rather obviusly looking more towards as much offense as possible.
Spells That I find useful Listed by School. (34/34)
(Im Ignoring Arcane and Primal at the moment, I do suggest getting Rock Armor and Arcane Shield)
(I favour Spirit and Nature damage, with tactical options.)
- Creation -
Heal - Rejuvenate - Regeneration
Glyph of Paralysis - Glyph of Warding - Glyph of Repulsion (Paralysis Explosion will Stun The Archdemon FYI)
Spell Wisp - Grease - Spellbloom - Stinging Swarm

Mana Drain - Mana Cleanse - Spell Might - Mana Clash
Walking Bomb - Death Syphon - Virulent Wlaking Bomb - Animate Dead
Mind Blast - Force Field - Telekinetic Weapons - Crushing Prison

Vulnerability Hex - Affliction Hex (They Stack)

Oh, may be. But it never hurts to have a few defensive spells.
