Traveler Achievement

There are a few sites out there with suggestions, however none of these seem to do the trick. Is this related to the percentage stats in the codex?
Thanks in advance.

If you do all the quests possible, visit every place at least once, (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE DLC AREAS) and visit the quest opened locations, you should get the achievement

It's so you can start up any new expansions or DLC with your old saved character.

Not what I call a big deal, but it's like getting a scratch on your monitor. Doesn't stop you from using it, but it's always there, taunting you.

I've seen a few of the lists of places.
I've checked them all about 3 times minimum, visited everywhere that every list suggested.
Nothing.
(Everywhere meaning everywhere I could find. I took all the extra quests I could aswell).

Rick: Hi, my name is Rick. How may I help you?
Me : Hello Rick - I'm having problems with the Traveler achievement on the 360.
Rick: What problem are you facing?
Me : I have 94% of the world explored at the end, but I have entered every building and every area on the map. Is there some other factor that this achievement depends on?
Rick: You have reached technical support; we have no gameplay information that we can offer to assist you. Although many of our games are very technical in nature or difficult to play, the issue you are encountering is not with the game.
Rick: You can check our message boards for help and assistance. You can find the message boards at the below given link :-
http://social.bioware.com/forum/
Me : Correct, however this issue is in regards to the technical nature of achievements unlocking. This is not a gameplay issue.
Rick: I need to escalate your issue to our senior support for further investigation.
Me : Thank you, should I stay in chat?
Rick: You will be contacted through email
Rick: Is there anything further I may assist you with today?
Me : Nothing else. Thanks and have a great day.

This time I've done more areas and I'm at 90% of world explored at fort drakon , since the human noble origin location counts as 5% and the dalish elf origin may count as a % too , I'm hoping to finally get it when I go up to fight the dragon
I tried doing every quest there was untill there was basically no quests left to do , I traveled to extra areas for the chantry , for the rogues , for the crows , for the blackstone irregulars , not sure if the mage collective had an extra area but I sure hope not

I got it on my first play through with only 91%. I did visit every area, I just didn't fill out every map completely.
Well I'm at 90% and inside the castle before the final boss , if 91% did it for you then I should get it as soon as I walk onto the roof hopefully

Well whatever you were missing before you probably keep on missing so playing multiple times won't help unless you find out what areas you aren't accessing. The achievement works fine I unlocked it on my first playthrough by simply doing every sidequest and hunting every secret I caught the smell of. Some areas on the map require special conditions like taking a certain quest(and there are chain quests) and so on....I'm sure you think you have been everywhere but that doesn't make it true. Then some quests only become available later in the game.....like after the landsmeet....like the Denerim stealing/break-in quests and yes one of those sends you to a new area. You can play through the game 100 times and not get the achievement if you're stubborn that you did everything and there's nothing else. You'll just have to try harder next time.
I understand that, however please explain why some are getting the achievement having completed very few sidequests and areas, while others are hitting every sidequest, location, and hitting every area within a map?
This is not a matter of trying harder. It is a matter of the game not tracking the locations where your character has been. I'm 98% game complete and 94% world traveled upon game completion.
All areas explored, all houses & shops entered, all chanter's board, merc, mage, Slim's, thief, crows, and alienage quests completed.

Just wondering.. did everyone who didn't get the achievement fight Gaxkang from the unbound quest? Takes place in a house in a dirty back alley... Seems like it could be an easy area to miss is why I ask.

I think its nessicary that we all know if thats ever happened or not because it would then prove if it means across all playthroughs or in one playthrough
