Okay, so in my epilogue for DA:O it said Cullen went cuckoo, killed three mages, and later escaped from prison. I imported this account to DAII, and on that account, the codex entry for Cullen said Gregoir sent him away to Kirkwall where he could work with Meredith, fearing that Cullen would harm some of the mages, since he thought all of them were evil now. Someone told me to believe the codex entry, because those are more accurate, but I heard the complete opposite. That the epilogue was accurate (aside from Anders dying, which was incorrect), and that the Codex was innaccurate. I can think of several times in DA:O when my Codex was innaccurate. So did Cullen escape from prison after killing three mage apprentices, or not? I personally think it would be more cool and BA if he did, not to mention if he didn't, it would ruin my whole fanfic. So did Gregoir sent him away or did he escape? Or did Gregoir send him away, but before he was sent away did Cullen kill the mages? I just wanna know what really went down.

He was sent there according to the codex, as he still isn't knight commander and hasn't went on a killing spree.
