The place is a warzone, any members here? I only just found my sister who was in the Bullring, any members in Birmingham now I suggest you get out now, I was attacked for no apparent reason, a rock I think, I got a gash at the back of my head but I'm fine and so is my sister, trying to get to trains but nothing I can do, Police are just walking in lines preventing looters, any members there I suggest you stay away from the Palasades and get a lift back, waiting for my parents now but willing to meet up with members here looking for someone or just wanting to get out. Armani is looted, Hollister is looted, the shops outside the Bullring are trashed, luckily I got my phone from the O2 shop which got trashed later on.

Sony shop is ripped apart and police are Trying to push forward, getting really scared now, alarms just constantly ringing and echoing around, swear I head a gunshot but proberly a petrol bomb, can't call my family at all like on new years. Guard dogs I think are in, hearing alot of barking in the background.

I'm in the warzone in London, my car has been WRECKED ... tires slashed, windows smashed.

My dad is with the police at the moment, his best friend has been taken to hospital with a head injury. I am SOOO angry.
My friends house has been looted.
Another has had a brick thrown at their car window while they were driving out of London with their 4 day old child in the backseat ... I hate England so much!!!!

Gibson hope your alright, my sister has had her shopping taken off her, lost a shoe and has had some hair pulled out. I think I got pickpocketed, phone and house keys are missing, tryin to find a pay phone now, luckily I have a spare pound and my sister still has her purse, police are doing **** all, I'm trapped here with no way out unless I walk through crowds of thugs, my sister is only 14, I can't risk going through it. I'm gonna have to wait it out, it's getting really cold, I'm considering on looking in a shop and take a jacket for me and my sister. Luckily my iPod was in my chest pocket.

Sorry to hear whats happened to you.

But the police are doing things!!! They are so low on resources there isn't much more they can do!!!!
5 police officers in Croydon were trying to close down a road ... against 200 rioters .... they couldn't stop that lot. Police horses and dogs are being attacked with fireworks used against them. The police are stretched to their limits.

Yeah it's confirmed that I have been pickpocketed, ****ing hell, there is **** all I can do to defend myself agaisnt a gang, found a metal pole and just keeping it with me for now, not taking any chances especially with my sister around crying her eyes out. I have been sworn at a couple of times but no trouble just yet. iPod battery quickly draining, this day could end with me in hospital.

Rhigibson, I hope everything is ok and your family is ok, keep us updated, it seems my iPod is about to die, took some drinks from Boots and a couple of energy bars and crisps, things dont seem to be calming down so we took a bunch of food and hats incaseit rains, no pay phones around so I'm guessing I will be here until the morning, hopefully the pay phones have better signal, going to look for my dad as he must be here by now, if not we are going to keep moving around, avoid crowds and stay in the light and maybe find a place to stay away from the rioters. Won't reply until later on tomorrow if i don't end up gettig beaten up or ipod gets nicked.

I got back home 2 hours ago, me and my sister are fine (I had stitches for the back of my head) turns out it was a small fragile bottle that smashed on my head and not a rock. Family is shaken up but we are all ok, hope everyone around the UK in middle of the riots are ok, I have no idea what's happening to the train stations, if I can, I will go back n get some pictures. Must of calmed down by now.

Last night felt like the Reapers have landed, rubble everywhere and smoking bins. Seen on the news that gangs are fighting each other with petrol bombs, London forum members stay inside!!

It's hard to believe that this could happen in a place like the UK. People have lost their minds...

Glad you and your sister are safe Minos.

Some guy in London was killed by the police, the guy killed apparently had no gun and was considered to be executed, started a riot and it spread. In Birmingham however there was just no point, people just joining in the 'fun'. The destructive nature of us Humans is scary, many of us are easily turned to animals, it was like 28 days later, like a virus just spreading to everyone, bystanders joined in the looting, people getting mugged and peoples houses were getting burnt down. Watch out Turians, don't ****** off a human! I truly have not seen us humans stoop that low in my life.

Bout time the Army was called in and a law swiftly passed through to give them the right to treat these little scroats as terrorists with a cease and dessist order in which if they do not so, lethal force will be applied to them. Never thought I'd see the day when such Law was needed in the UK in this day and age but I think this is needed.

I don't even think London should have turned out the way it has. It started off as a peaceful protest and the Police should have been allowed to investigate what had happened. But no, instead a bunch of degenerate little thugs decided to try make a point and in doing so, anarchy has come. Time for likeminded hoodlums to be put in their place.

I hope all of you in these affected areas remain safe

The morning after the night before. As minos has said ... The streets look like something out of an apocalyptic film like 28 days later.

It's so scary here, I'm heading back home soon as I was only here for some work but everyone has been aloud to leave and go back. I decided to head towards Tescos so I could get some food for the journey home ... But guess what?! It's been looted!!! I'm a youth and stupidly decided to wear my hoodie to the shop purely because it was 8am, chilly and the only other clothes I have are business wear ... People crossed the road from me 0_o *sigh* so glad to be leaving here.

Glad to hear you're safe, Minos - just try to get some rest, (both yourself and Gibson).

Lichenstien - they are considering the military, but it's spread so thin already all we really have left is the TA.

I doubt they would do that, it doesn't realy send out the right message sending the army against 'youths'

The police simply don't have the numbers to deal with it. Especially if it continues to spread tonight. I honestly think the TA may need to be deployed if it gets any more widespread, just to bolster the police.
