One step from downloading pirated version od Dragon Age. Original game is unplayable. DLC authorization is a joke.

 I found this game unplayable. First i had DLC authorization issues, but i found information about running daoupdater as administator before starting the game, it helped for a while but when i bought Feastday Gifts i was unable to download it, it was still in "available download content list" and it should be in "Installed content". And according to the website im owner of this DLC!!!.

About 10-20 minutes after this i was unable to load my savegames, because when i tried to i had msg "This saved game includes Bioware premium content. To load this game, an owner of the following content must login:" and all DLC in game was unauthorized again even with daoupdater runned as administrator in background. Im 100% sure i was logged with my account, and according to "My registered content" im owner of this content.

After spending 2-3 hours of googling and reading the whole sticky posts in this part of forum i tried everything, i checked if my cdkey is properly registered, i was refreshing, reloging, i made this profile.dab restart, and i even disabled my antivirus and firewalls ....nothing helped!!

So i found 1.05beta patch on the forum. It helped with authorization issues, but now when i buy DLC i need to install them manually from dragonwiki and i have to wait from 2 to 5 minutes everytime i load my savegame or leave some area ....on highend PC.

My windows is original, i do not own any cracked or pirated software. I dont have any sheeit installed on my PC. I keeping my pc pretty clean.

Im casual player, i dont have a time to read some players made solutions that involves editing registry, finding some hidden files in system folders, and editing some config files. This is all to complicated for me and when i buy something it should work properly right ? .I can understand some ingame bugs, but this makes my game completely unplayable!!!!. Im one step from ignoring bioware and first time in my life playing completely pirated game becasue it seems crackers fixed this long time ago. This isnt my fault, i bought your product and its not working. And according to "google" this isnt only my problem!

I bought this game 2 days ago...

I'm sorry you are frustrated. You are in a peer support forum, not official EA support. The people here are more than happy to help you to the best of our abilities if you need assistance, but we are not official BioWare or EA anything. Even the mods are volunteer gamers. Believe me, the people who help in this forum are very clear that while this is a great game in many ways, it also has some fairly serious bugs.

If you want to complain to the company itself or get official support, there is a link at the bottom of every forum page to support.EA.com. The player generated solutions in the solutions round-up do work, and the registry edit was actually suggested by BioWare staff. There is a beta script from BioWare that will fix the CD key location in the registry if that is your only issue.

And i own only Dragon Age: Origins and 3 DLCs ...i cant even imagine what horrors people going through with ultimate editions ....

Gamestop wont accept refund because my cdkey and promo codes was already used/registered, and according to law in Germany i have rights to 100% money refund if product is defective. This product IS DEFECTIVE. I should start the game and everything should work flawless. Like i said before minor quests or ingame items bugs are ok, but this makes the game completely useless. This is why i think it should be called as "defective product". Almost every post here is about DLC authorization problems, and a lot of them started one year ago!. If this is what you get form BioWare ...well this is my last time i bought their product.


Starting some daoupdater as administator before launching game? Editing registry ? Beta patches ? Searching some system folders ? Ediing configuration files ?  ....what the hell ? It feels like prealpha edition of game, not product released 2 years ago.... After 2 years such a serious problem should be fixed already!!!!
