That said. Ash isn't racist, there's nothing wrong with being religious (to say that there is, is extremely bigoted on your part), and I'm not going to get into the 'abandonment' issue. She and Shepard were going in opposite directions at the time, 'nuff said.
Ash isn't Cereberus, obviously, but shes still too prejudiced for me personally to tolerate. Kaiden said it best, "we're all saints and sinners." Judge a person by their actions, not their claws or tentacles or whatever. Sapience is a rare thing, intelligence and wisdom even more so.
Secondly, shes beleiving in God when she's surrounded by multiple sentient forms of life, using technology of life forms who used to observe neanderthals from a base on Mars. Then she learns that a race of sentient starships has been grooming organic life for assassimlation for millions of years. Yes, all that does not exclude God creating the universe, but it harms every book written about its interference. No offense to the theists in the house, but if you received that kind of experience and information, how far could you really carry your cross without needing to become violent? To me personally, her situation is zealot-grade lunacy.

We dont know what religion Ash belongs to, we just know that she believes in A God, It could be a new religion (it is set in the future). Besides SOMEONE made the Reapers.
