 I think this should be an option in the ME3. Shepard meets up with Miranda and Jacob at some point during the convo it is clear that they want to rejoin you and help however they can. The VS and Vega however don't trust them since they are former Cerberus and there's a possiblity of indoctrination. You then have to make the choice between recruiting Jacob and Miranda to serve on the Normandy again, which causes the VS and Vega to leave the Normandy or to reject them and keep the VS and Vega. Thoughts?

I would pick Miranda and Vega. >:C Jacob and VS can shove it. So a bit of both.

I would be very happy with this option....though Jacob doesn't really fit the mold, his not a hard core Cerberus like Miranda, I think Jacob just goes where he thinks he may be able to do the best he can, I don't strictly see him as Cerberus.

I'm not a fan of Cerberus or the Alliance, neither can be trusted, though I think general Alliance personal would as a general rule be much more trustworthy than anything/anyone Cerberus and I could definitley see there being problems mixing the two, I like the idea....Plus it gets Miranda the hell off my ship.......YAH!!...

I'd be happy to see some tension that leads to conflict, possibly violent depending on how Shepard plays it, but not outright incompatibility, at least not to start.

I would take a third option and use my Paragon Charm skills to get them to play nice with each other.

Of course if I really had to choose it would be my Alliance buddies, though I'd feel horrible for turning my back on Jacob and Miranda and would do everything I could to help them anyways.

Cerberus squaddies win, I never liked the alliance and Miranda is my LI in my main.

yeah I personally would take the Cerberus people. They quit cerberus by the end of ME2 because they trusted Shepard while the VS threw a hissy fit and called Shep a traitor. It's clear who I can trust.

I think being able to recruit both and then having a loyalty conflict a la Miranda/Jack - except without the option to press a 'I win' button to get out of it would be perhaps more interesting.

That said Miranda/Jacob they proved their loyalty and dedication to defeating the Reapers over the course of ME2. The VS...less so and Vega is an FNG aka bullet stopper.

true it would be interesting. I would rather just have 2 humans in the party tho.. 4 would be too many. plus i'm guessing the squad is only going to be 10 people at most this time and I need as many aliens back as possible

My Shepards no longer trust the Alliance and never trusted Cerberus - or any of its employees.

Miranda resigns only if you take her to the final battle - and I don't usually do that so for me she's still a Cerberus diehard. My Shepards would probably choose the Alliance squaddies before Miranda and Jacob - even the Shepard with Miranda as a LI. (She may love Shepard but he told her the truth, he only wanted to get her into bed.)

No Cerberus for my gals. I'd go Alliance if given the choice - well Alliance and my trusty Krogans, Salarian and Turian ;-) Oh and Geth.

Can I get a mix? Meaning Vega AND Miranda? He's not used to the seedy underbelly of the galaxy so I can convince him to understand. The VS can do whatever the hell they want for all I care, unless they try to stop me that is. Jacob... well to be honest there was a time in ME2 where I forgot you even existed, so you can stay, just don't take away screentime for anyone else.

But I did like my suicide mission crew as well so I hope that it wouldn't be an either / or.

Shepard is trying to not let big frickin' reapers destroy all of humanity & their pals so any help = YES PLEASE!!!!!

Hell, even the turian councilman can come aboard if he is willing to fight the reapers.

This is absolutely no time for pettiness.

Unless you feel there are certain trust issues...there are some squaddies I simply don't trust not to sabotage at some point.....an inside saboteur could set progress back enormously.

I know that we all play different Shepards but my Sheps never felt distrust by the end of each game with her teams.

They all worked together for the greater good and I hope that Shepard isn't betrayed by any one of them.

 I liked all the characters.

i would definitely not pick cerberus, just because i never used them in my team after the first 2 or 3 missions

My decision would be biased in favor of the more combat effective pair. Miranda is hard to beat in ME2 (Jacob as well, to a lesser extent).

Kaidan, a fellow Sentinel, might give Miranda a run for her money.

Given the choice, I'd go with Jacob and Miranda. If Ashley / Kaidan refuses to tolerate them, they can go fight the Reapers alone. In addition to this, I don't know Vega and his loyalty isn't assured compared to Miranda and Jacob.
