Possibly 13 surviving at that point. Then again, you might have less. And if you didn't install the Kasumi DLC or recruit Legion, she may well be your only 'tech expert.'

So if, say, the tech expert you need to break into the base is sick and suffering from dehydration as they get into the very, very hot tubes, and then passes out... what are you going to do? Other than be screwed? Not, mind you, that you have any fore-knowledge about what challenges will be required.

This is the duty of responsible people: to not add needless risks without good reasons.

Leaving the key in your car?
Juggling babies?
Leaving sensitive information on a memory stick left in public?
Not having security at an important institution on a specific night?
Gambling?


Actually, that last one is a pretty good analogy. Winning a gamble at, say Roulette doesn't change that taking the gamble was an exercise in stupidity from the start. BUT YOU WON doesn't change how gambling is aimed at those without good sense of numbers.

Most of the other characters don't have as good reasons NOT to romance them.

Both of who has a high chance of betraying you. Matagaming knowledge aside.

Thane a dying man.

All romance has no good reason.

I may not like Tali and the romance but I should not judge others choice to harshly. Love can do crazy things.

I am a die hard Liaramancer at that.

It's Cerberus and metagaming. Anyway. Just because someone is dying, isn't a reason to romance them. Sure it could be easier to avoid the pain and not get involved with someone who'll die soon, but if you think the person is ''worth'' the pain in the end, then why the hell not? Atleast that person gets to die happy, knowing there was someone for them in the end.

Jack may not be my kind of gal, but I guess I can see why people would be attracted to her. Some people like a bit of crazy. And Miranda, well she's my one and only in the game, there's plenty of reasons for that and I don't think she has any higher chance of betraying you than most of the other LIs. Depending on your choices.

I don't really like Tali either, but it's not really the character that bugs me as much as the Talimancers themselves. Reading one year worth of bashing of other characters and trumping other people's opinions is idiotic and that's how I look at every single Talimancer, until the individual proves otherwise.

There's bit of everything for everyone, as long as everyone would keep to their own ''spaces'' it all should be good. You don't have to agree with them but at least looking a bit deeper, before going all crazy with the insults, helps.

But yeah.. Tali is pretty much the only one, who could die because Shepard romances them, whether that's good enough reason not to romance her is matter of an opinion.

Alright im not trying to rain on your parade, but if a chimp and a human can't have a baby together point being they share 99% of our DNA, what makes you think that Tali an alien from a completely different species OFF earth, that doesn't even share the same amino acid as us (theirs being dextro, ours being levo) can have a baby with Shepard. I'd be smh'ing forever if Bioware made it somehow possible.

Why not? looking at other options, I still don't trust Miranda, Jack is Bat-**** Crazy who might turn into the clingy type, Ash got butt-hurt and wouldn't hear shep out then sent some sappy email. Tali on the other hand has this allure to her, very much the quiet type, shy and reserved yet when pressed she gets nervous and starts fumbling with her words. I find it cute and adorable. Out of all of the male shep LI's she seems like the one who will be there for shep when he needs someone. Considering what Sheps been through and still has to do, he's going to need that support. Liara is the only other LI capable of providing the level of support shep requires imo.

I really think those who are so for wanting hybrid kids between Tali and Shepard, give talimancers a bad name. The whole not being able to have biological kids with Shepard is just another obstacle they would have to deal with it. So BUCK UP and stop whining. That's what you get for wanting to romance Tali, there are consequences for every action. If you want your male Shepard to have kids, ROMANCE SOMEONE ELSE.

Besides, hybrids are already a cliche in scifi, and bioware would be making Mass Effect more realistic if they made sure Tali could not have some half-breed. It wouldn't make sense anyway, since they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SPECIES.

'Nuff said.  Whether or not they can have children is inconsequential to my romancing her.
