Type:  Full Additional Campaign, Main Campaign Modification

Description / Plot:

This will be broken in two parts, one that adds ON to the main campaign and one that that does a whole new campaign.

It's been another 100 years since Duncan and his friends defeated the last blight and now they have returned. However in these new troubled times new people with new abilities have arose to fight the threat.

Origin Story:

Think Fable, where you start out young and grow older. I figured out how to use scripts to age characters in story lines.

New classes:

Cleric - The plate covered spell slinging full healing cleric is back
Druid - Everyone's beloved over powered shape changing tree hugger.
Ranger - The REAL dual wielding forest loving ranger...
Monk - Wwwwhhhaaaaaa! Cha-Cha! "Quivering palm of death"

New Races:

Half-Elf - I'm really surprised it wasn't added at first...
Drow - Gotta love em...or hate em.
Half-Giant - Me smash em good! Ggggrrraaaawww!!!
more to be released...

Specializations....

Warrior
----> Specialization: Cavalier (Every good story has it's dragon fighting knight)
----> Specialization: Dragoon (Harnessing the power of dragon kind is awesome)

Cleric
----> Specialization: War Priest (All about Dmg)
----> Specialization: Holy (Healing, some dmg)
----> Specialization: Unholy (Necro Type)

Druid
----> Specialization: Warden (Protection spells)
----> Specialization: Fury (All about Dmg)
----> Specialization: Grovekeeper (Summons & Pet Buffs)

Ranger
----> Specialization: Archer (All about archery)
----> Specialization: Survival (Melee Skills)
----> Specialization: Nature (Druid Spells)

Monk
----> Specialization: Protector (Protection type)
----> Specialization: Sage (Healing / Dmg)
----> Specialization: Master (Melee skills)

Would I be able to play as Spok? :D

Seriously, seeing the word "Drow" made me dizzy for a while.... are you sure the Drows exist in the DA world? Call it "dark elves" and you won't get spoiled with strange questions :D

PS: wish you all the best of lucks and lots of gameplay hours :)

The people who make drow are racists. Don't you know that living under the ground would make your skin pale over time, not dark? They don't live in the desert. Yeesh.  "Hey guys, what would be scary! I know, black elves!"

Call them Dusk Elves, make them paler and shorter than regular elves.

It does. To be quite trollish though, it does conflict with lore - but have fun with it! You have an idea so go with it.

sounds like a nice d and d game youll be makeing. yourraces and classes really cant exist in this universe though. so you may want to stop refering to it as a dao continuation. for example there are no half elves because all such unions roduce full humans. there are no half giants because thats what the qunari. there even refered to as giants in several places. etc etc.

Says the guy with the dark-skinned dwarf avatar. ;)

Well the concept does conflict with DA universe and rather more of D&D universe instead. Giants are replaced by Qunari. And I don't think they mingled with humans due to their rigid society rules.

And Drows? Come now, you just want to make D&D modules. But nonetheless, have fun with your project. And oh, btw Duncan died... he wasn't there when they defeated the last Blight.

Sounds very amazing if you can pull this off right, just one thing, half elves don't exist(not saying you shouldn't add them in) If an elf and a human have a child it is Usually a human but can sometimes be an elf, SPOILERS- hence Alistair is the child of King Maric(human) and Fiona(elven mage gray warden), according to the book at least.

Other than my useless nit picking this sounds really cool good luck.

Why are some of you people being so rude? It's his module and his idea, and he wants to do this...as does his help. If you don't like it, don't comment, and don't enter this forum again.

Anyways, still loving this idea ^_^ good luck :D

So what if it doesn't fit in the world of Thedas? If you want to make a module set in a world where different races exist, go right ahead....

lore conflicts might be a good thing considering if people don't take some creative liberties, EVERY campaign we see will be the same kind of thing, and that just sounds boring to me.  A fun campaign is a fun campaign--screw the inconsistencies.  Don't like it?  Don't play it.

Think large, fellas.  I like the idea.

So, just curious, why try and shoehorn a bunch of stuff that ranges from superfluous to nonsensical into the DA setting? You obviously have no qualms about borrowing from D&D, so why not just set it on the Blade Beach and call it Thor's Door?

I'll help in whatever way I can, though I'm not the most toolset-inclined. I can learn though, right? Anyway, if you've learned how to add aging like in fable I'm all for that. Will you be adding this for the vanilla origins also? The half-elf I must comment on though- anyone having both a human and an elf parent will just turn out human. I *think* this is one of the factors along with aging that the elves freaked out and ran from the humans. But I'd like to help. :)

well, they leave plenty of lore open for experimentation, so lore conflicts shouldn't too excusable. Though I do admit I'd like to see some experimentation with races and classes.
