Not so much an issue with the patch, as much an issue of getting *TO* the patch. I have, so far, clicked the link to the 1.69 patch for NWN at least six times, with each time redirecting me to the main Bioware site, instead of the actual patch..
..Could I get some help, please?

At the top of this forum you can find a sticky called Guide to Installing NWN1 for Win7 including patch links Which has links to all patches.
