Not by a long shot. Having a rogue around helps for the XP advantage they offer early game (lots of traps/chests to detec/disarm/unlock) and for maxing out XP (which benefits everyone). Rogues are also ridiculously powerful in DA:O as long as you know your way around making/using flasks (alchemical bombs).Some people say rogues are weakest class in origins
If you wanna know something for sure in DA:O then either ask someone really reliable or do a lot research, then you need to actually try it out yourself.
