Hi
I Install NWN on my laptop (WINDOWS 7) and install the patch 1.69 but I have some problems. I can't see the mouse pointer and it's verry hard to play without. Did someone have the same problem and a solution? I'm a beginner and I search how find things hides and how to broke to have it.

Thanks a lot
Bella

Go to your NWN directory. Right click on NWN and NWMAIN exe. Go to properties, go to compatibility, select the drop down menu for WINX XP SP3 then on down select Use as Administrator. Do this for all exe files in your nwn dir. Should help. Or update your video card drivers. ( for laptops it is prolly nvidia or windows has updated drivers for it. I recommend going to the video cards website).

Note - I received new drivers yesterday for mouse, keyboard, and Nvidia card. The Nvidia driver altered my resolution somewhat, and made playing NWN1 very problematic; had to re-install older driver to play.

Hi Elhanan
I install the new driver AFTER because I have problem with mouse pointer. I don't think re-install older driver will help? I modify the mouse pointer, disable the function that other application can modify the pointer, but nothing works... :-((

Techless One here, but perhaps it is the mouse itself.

I once had difficulty with an older optical device simply because the mousepad had too much red on it. Really!

Try adjusting your mouse properties in the control panel, in particular uncheck "pointer trails AND Magnification.

BTW - what version of Windows 7, and is it 32 or 64 bit?
