In 2012, there is honestly not that much on the horizon to get excited about besides Mass Effect 3 and Tomb Raider, so far.

However, 2011 still has Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Battlefield 3 and Skyrim.

Ooh, forgot about Risen 2. Thanks for the reminder. But is Dead State actually going to be released in 2012? Haven't heard anything official from Double Bear regarding release dates. I get the feeling that AoD too is either going to be released or canned in 2012, but no official word there either.

There's also the new Larian project which seems like it's going to be an RTS/RPG hybrid.

Am I the only one who isn't looking that far forward? This year still has Deus Ex, Skyrim and other awesome stuff coming up. I haven't even had the time to think about the next year.

But what I have thought about, is it 2012 or 2013 when the new generation of consoles will strike us? 'Cause they are coming. I can feel it, even if I'm not really looking forward to it.

Good/solid, etc. Not outstanding, but a decent gameplay-oriented open world RPG.

It's basically a Gothic game with updated graphics. Which it would've been if PB didn't temporarily lose the Gothic license.
