After the year of indentured servitude, how long did your Hawke take to earn the 50 gold for the Deep Roads?

Fairly quickly on my most recent playthrough...in game time it probably took a month or two, I'm not really sure.
By the time I was ready to head into the Deep Roads I had around 75 sovereigns, not counting what I'd previously spent on gear. It was odd talking to NPCs and companions who doubted that I could ever get 50, and who insisted that I really needed money, when I had a surplus of 25 sovereigns to do whatever I wanted with. :|

I find wearing items that give you better coin drops and enemies drop better equipment help you get there sooner

A few minutes, if there's something I can exploit in a game like Bioware likes to make, I will exploit it.
So, I took the most expensive item, put it in Junk and kept double selling it over and over until I could buy the most expensive item from the Emporium and sell that over and over again til I have the appropriate funds.

A week or two maybe? I think Hawke would have made money more quickly by staying in Kirkwall and being an errand-boy than going on the expedition.

I made 100 sovereigns at one of my playthroughs before the Deep Roads. And that was after I did all the quest except for that one quest. I didn't buy anything. Just sell stuff. It is really easy.

My record is 132 Soverigns...
Bought a tome and a belt from that dissued passage that increases defense and attributes and I still had over 100 Sovereigns before the expedition.
