I've got the head swap down pat.

Now, how do I get the bodies to swap?

NOTE:  This is NOT turning Hawke into x NPC.  This is turning Fenris into Hawke, or Anders into Hawke, or Merril or Isabela or Cullen or or or (I think you get the idea.)

Ex.

I've tried editing the save game where I have Hawke on Fenris model for the end of Bitter Pill at the House.  Instead, I get creapy floating head.  No body.  I've made sure the race, gender and appearence numbers were changed, but still getting creepy floating Hawke head.

Any advice, tips, tricks, etc would be MUCH appreciated.

At this point, I'm wondering if I'll have to dig out the .phy, ..msh and .mmh files for Hawke and target NPC and just switch names, but I dunno. (Plus I don't even know if those are the correct ones. -.-)

Is it not possible to put human Hawke onto an Elf/Dwarf?

Fenris's armor model isn't compatible with the human race.

You'll have to change his outfit.

Also, you're absolutely certain you changed his appearance to 15?

I am certain but it was to 18 (FHawke house clothes).

I even tried 16 for good measure (and yea, I also changed his 1 to 2 for Gender and race from 2 to 3) but still got creeper floating Hawke head.

Is the underlying model for Fenris incompatible with the human Hawke (sorry should have probably specified Fem) over lay? Will it just not work regardless?

Thanks for the reply btw.  Been tough trying to get help for this.

Ok, so the adventures continue.

End game, putting Custom FHawke onto the Fenris model... has resulted in boots, helm and gloves of the Champion but no chest piece.

What I did with the GFF editor was change Fenris' Equipable Items:
1 - the name of the TEMPLATERESREF to gen_im_arm_cht_hvy_champion
the POSITION to 4.0, 0.0, 0.0

Did the same for the others with the relevant names and positions... but the chest piece just ain't working. Is it because the companions armor is pretty much immutable? How can I locate their armor and do the model swap?

Wait, figured it out. The POSITION is 20. Usually in their 5 spot.
