BioWare announced at facebook that there will be Dragon Age demo at gamescom. What could it be? Something new?

I assume it will be the Legacy demo that was also at Comic Con, as I doubt they'll already have an entirely new DLC ready to be 'shipped'.

Could be that in the long time from DA2's release to Legacy, they were working on more than one DLC and maybe they'll put out subsequent DLC a little quicker.

So I guess it could be another DLC, as having a demo of Legacy, at that point a month old DLC, would be kind of strange.

This, but developers do show the same demo off at multiple events, but i agree a month old DLC is a bit odd to be demoing

I wouldn't put it past them to do Legacy. I mean, it is fairly new.

I looked on Factbutt.  Looks like this is the post in question, straight from their feed:

Dragon Age will be at Gamescom in the EA Community Lounge. We will have some demo machines on hand and members of the dev team to answer your questions. Also tune in to BioWare TV for live Gamescom coverage if you cant make it to the show. So if you are in the Cologne, Germany area come say hi!  RinpocheSchnozberry is so handsome and friendly, we want to give him one million cakes.

I added that last line.  Seems pretty non-earthshattering.  You might even call it earthknitting.  I bet we'll hear rumors of the next DLC or XPack, but I doubt we'll see screenies.  Seems kind of odd to go to the trouble of demoing a game people have already played though...  Maybe it will sway some folks though, otherwise it's a fine way to meet girls dressed for Octoberfest.

wait... they're showing a demo in Germany? It can't be Legacy can it? Legacy has been released in North America, Europe, etc., so there'd be no point to it.

It would strike me as remarkably weird to bring a demo of Legacy. I mean, what would be the point of that?

When I went to Comic Con NO ONE was playing Legacy... I'm not exaggerating at all btw. It wasn't until I got close to the entrance to the ME3 demo that one of the dragon age people asked me if I wanted to play it while they held my place in line because I was wearing a Dragon Age Shirt.

It was pointless at Comic Con and will be even more so at Gamescon so I hope it's something new. I doubt it though.

If it is legacy, then whoever is in charge of marketing for DA2 should be promptly replaced by someone who isn't a chimp.

I'd actually prefer they kept a chimp for marketing. Imagine the interviews!

Just a quick thought, but was David Gaider wearing that DA hangman t-shirt at Comic Con? Perhaps the demo is something to do with that.
