Hello, i'm redoing ME2 now i've finished the horizon part or the storyline and the dlc activate but i have one question:
is best for the storyline play the dlc after the end climax or can it be played also after horizon?

Best to play it after the final mission.

It doesn't matter. You get some slightly different dialogue doing it pre-SM, but the end result is the same. Try it both ways, and then see which you prefer.

I think it's better after the suicide mission only because the end cutscene shows the reapers outside of the Milky Way, and Arrival clearly states they are in the galaxy after finishing the DLC.

That, and it was explicitly slated as a bridge from ME2 to ME3, lol.
Seriously, what is the point of this thread? I've seen a few others like it too.

I get really annoyed whenever Hackett pops up after Horizon. It just breaks immersion for me; Arrival doesn't make much sense pre-suicide mission. I know I can leave the mission until post-SM but the fact that Hackett speaks of it after Horizon just takes me out of the experience.
