Nope, these forums are bar far the most vicious towards other peoples opinions and I have noticed though some don't put their points across very well or in nicest of ways.. The majority of people attacking other [people] is the ones who defend DA2. This reply is an exception to my normal modus operandi, that is in order to state what I have seen here over past many months.

Some do it under the guise of arrogance such as Rinpoch while others such as yourself hide behind humour and take everything as an offense to your very existance. In general critics generally attack [aspects] about the game [some exceptions but few and far between] while the DA2 fans generally attack the [people] rather than discuss the aspects what critics bring forth.

This forum has the most aggressive and negative reaction out of all forums I have been on recently towards anything that is critical about the holy grail that is Bioware's titles [any of them].

To me your one of the worst in one specific aspect, every other thing you say has to belittle either TW2 or DAO in order to make a point. The DA2 fans attack other games to prop up DA2, more than the critics attack DA2 with other games.

Bolded parts: You cannot be serious. Yes I do defend DAII. Let's see what the so called more peaceful detractors have done to me: Impersonation, trolling my FF.net account, threats via PM....shall I continue? And I am not the only one. Positive threads shot down by "You can't be serious, trololol!" and "Awwww, poor retarded COD kiddie" etc.

As for the second bolded part: I rarely do this and given that I love both DAO and TW2, I often say that these two games should be considered when moving forward with the DA franchise.

There are many other games better than DA2 but more often than not they have better aspects of gameplay mechanics than DA2 rather than on the whole and most of those are merely personal opinions linked to other peoples preferences. If read my review you would see that some things I liked and others did not in DA2. I am not in a faction I just stated what I have seen from these forums over many months.

I could say I thought FF7 was better than DA2 doesn't make or more or less true, it's a preference so if your going to bash people for saying they prefer one or the other thats your choice and is fair enough if do it in way that states your merely of a different opinion. The thing I spoke about was [quantity] of such occurrences happening on the forums here where even though I like many others have preference of liking another game more than DA2 we don't [most of us] ran it down your throat day in day out.

Most TW talk is done in the offtopic section as is Skyrim [there are some exceptions as always] but on the DA2 forums most of fans bash another title to prop up DA2 every chance they get. They assume it's alright to do so because someone else did it before aka Cowboy in this thread with Perse jumping in to praise it. Attacking people and other titles to point score.

Upon the release of TW2 and probably will happen again upon release of Skyrim, people will make some threads about aspects they would like to see brought from those ttles into DA3. This is by far different to dissing a game like DA2 fans seem to do a lot not talking about what can be done better but instead just plainly outright attacking another title to make some point. The people who mention other aspects within other games mention those aspects because they feel DA series could be better with them, no different to someone saying I would like more swords in game.
