You judge me because I play on console??. and No I don't play sports games. I like games with a good story but with good gameplay as well so i don't have to force myself through the game.

P.S. I am also a PC gamer(big Starcraft 2 fan)

It's an opinion(i assume, I refuse to watch the video), it's just as valid as my burning hatred of the game. You can try to convince people, but you can't prove away dislike.

Ah yes yes. Just great. So you want to prove that my opinion about DA2 being bad is somewhat invalid by presenting me with an opinion of someone selse. Great way to prove something. I salute you.

And please be aware that it did win a great deal of awards.


No DA:2 was not a bad game. I rated it a 7/8 but it still was not as good as Origins.



Waves of Enemies materializing out of nowhere is not innovation.

Fetch and Delivery quests ruin game immersion.



You may have not like Origins as much but please have some decency to understand that some people did. Its really a simple concept.

The fact that Legacy was so great is a step in the right direction that they want to bring back the fans that are aliennated.

The problem with that is those of use that liked DAO feel (or many of us do) that BW has dumped on us, partronized us, then then say they want us back?  In short, a number of us feel slighted and people that feel slighted are not given to being understanding to those that are being given what they want....

Frankly?  Yes.  When Bioware says that their customers "don't appreciate the advances in DA2" when a lot of us (for very valid reasons) simply didn't like it (and yes Bioware DID say that), it's patronising.

Honestly, that sounds fairly accurate. I've heard legitimate complaints, like about how the game was rushed and some of Hawke's issues with not showing as much activity as the Warden could, but there's a hell of a lot of They Changed It Now It Sucks whining in there too.

'Hate' is too strong a word.

'Massive dissapointment' sums
up the feelings of many fans.

1) A poor action game instead of an RPG.
2) Your decisions don't matter
3) Wave enemies
4) Weightless anime combat
5) Overused environment
6) 'Push a button and something awesome happens!'
7) Cartoonish art style
8) Painfully linear
9) Ignores your Origins decisions (Leliana, Anders etc)
10) 'We want COD's audience!'

While I enjoyed 'Legacy', mostly due to Grey Warden Bethany, I don't see it as a step in the right direction. There's not a single decision of consequence in that DLC.

You do understand that the way the developers are speaking out its because they want to bring back some of the fans they lost don't you?

And from the sound that PC Gamer article, it looks like they might be bringing some of the game elements from Origins they took away. 

I don't hate DA:2 but I do feel aspects of it were rushed and over simplified to pander to the masses who want everything handed to them.

Sometimes I feel that some complain about dragon age origins, simply because others don't like or complain about DA2 ( what they like themself and so, they feel strangely insulted). I find it ridiculous personally.

I think that might be more effective if the devs didn't blame Origins or the fans for the reason some disliked Dragon Age 2.
