Same goes for the occasional freezing. (for a second, or two)
It reminds me of how the Return to Ostagar DLC caused some glitches with DA:O.
I may be wrong, on my recollection, but I could swear I read something about the two glitches starting after downloading the Legacy DLC. (just can't remember where I read it)

The worst part is that it is impossible to uninstall the Legacy DLC. You have to uninstall DA2 and then reinstall without Legacy.AresXX7 wrote...

Really?
That sucks, having to go through that much trouble.
(I'm still completely new to playing the PC version of these type of games , so I didn't know that)

I didn't encounter any such bug.
I haven't with Corypheus either, but I have had it happen, sporadically, throughout the main game.

- Damage taken during spawn-in time is not accurately reflected on the health bar causing enemies to appear as though they have 0hp but won't die.
Basically, the new patch introduced a delay before enemies start attacking you, wich I think counts as "spawn-in time". So, if they get hit during that period, they will become "immortal" once they reach 0hp.
The best thing to do is to simply stop attacking the "immortal" target and focus elswhere. They ususally drop dead soon after. In case of Corypheus, it is best to wait until he starts to move, and only then start attacking him.

Now THAT is a bug. Wow. I've always wondered why enemies were just standing there with 0hp and not dying, now I know. Why on earth would anyone ever code that sort of thing into a game?

So what they did to fix that is make the parachuting enemies move slower for a bit when they spawn, giving you some time to react. The only problem with that is the whole 'been invincible during that time' (so your party ends up beating the **** out of some little critter).
It's sorta like their solution to people complaining about assassins etc. Instead of removing their invincible flip (they can't be targetted or damaged once they start their stealth animation) they just reduced their health. Their health wasn't the problem, it was the timing to knocking them out of stealth. In any case, with practice it isn't that hard anyway - but I did write an entire guide to dealing with them right before they utterly nerfed them.

DAO allowed for easy uninstallation and reinstallation of DLC. There was a handy interface with checkboxes where you could turn DLC on and off. Why they abandoned that design for DA2 I have no idea.

I HATE, HATE, HATE that fight anyway. Whoever though that having a fight involve running around in a maze chased by fire, in a game where path-finding SUCKS, should be made to play, and replay the fight 8 hours a day for a month as pennance. While listening to this on repeat.
To have the fight that's already too long and tedious be buggy in addition is just... inexcusable.
Tried running around not damaging him, but that didn't help. Going to have to reload and redo this #¤!&* battle.

I make sure I've CTRL+A'd everyone so they follow me wherever I go (they're not smart enough to avoid the fire themselves...). Run to a statue and activate it, killed the shades while remaining in the enclosed area. Once the fire has gone past, run at the same time as it and go to the next statue. Rinse and repeat until all 4 are done and attack Corypheus until it starts again. Basically do this until his health is gone.
