Quick RP question.
I'm trying to decide on a class to finish the game with. I've dabbled with all three to various points in Act 1 and from a story/RP standpoint, it feels like Hawke is meant to be a mage or at least have some measure of magical ability.
I'm wondering if a templar/reaver warrior would fit story-wise if I'm trying to play a non-mage Hawke that has some magical abilities.
Thanks for looking...
:-)
RP Question: Would a Templar/Reaver fill a mage'ish warrior role?

I think it's legit enough that I've done it myself. My main is Templar/Reaver, and I've always RP'd that while she doesn't have magic enough to light a candle and thus has no real claim to or sense of a mage identity herself, there's still juuust enough mageblood there that she doesn't need to chug lyrium to use templar talents.
And Reaver being essentially blood magic for nonmages, and thus likely highly blasphemous and illegal, it definitely has that same "any legit authority figure and especially Meredith would cut you down for this so fast if she knew" element that theoretically surrounds a mage Hawke, so that fits as well.

Cool...thanks for the feedback. :-) I was looking for a way to justify a non-Mage Hawke while still retaining that "chosen one" feel...at least from an RP standpoint.
