Is it possible to respec in DAO, with any of the Expansions perhaps?

I have DAII and was thinking about buying one of the DA "packages" that feature Awakening and all the other expansions. Before I do I just wanted to know if you can respec in the first Dragon Age, like you can in Dragon Age II.

Thx

There is a mod over @ dragonagenexus that places ravens in different areas of the world that give you potions of respecialization to use in DAO. Awakenings has vendors who sell manuels of focus (I think that's what there called) that allow for respecialization.

From what I've read, characters created in Origins carry over to Awakening, so I guess what you're saying is that I could just as well wait till I reach Awakening. None the less, does anyone happen to know the specific name of the mod mentioned?

Thx

Also, one of the things added in the amazing Quests and Legends mod are magical pools than let you respec, plut turning into a multiclassed characte (mague/rogue/thief in any combination), though this one is just for your Warden.

Your Warden does carry over, correct, but they do start with a couple skills and abilities in place... some people don't like that. Also, some people like to build companions differently than how they come. If that is you, you'll want the respec mod.

Awakenings respecs cost money, 6 gold, IIRC. So, you'll want to look at crafting as a money source in the DA wiki.

The respecs from the respec mod are free but you can only have one respec potion at a time in your inventory.

There's a respec item in Golems of Angarrak called Manual of the Ist Warden. It allows to you to respec humanoid characters.
