Leng's xenophobia knows no bounds, we know this, but how far would he go to try and get rid of all the aliens? The shot of him in that Game Informer looked very Reaper-esque to me. What if he's leading the Cerberus troops that are attacking Shepard? We may not get the chance to kill TIM after all. Casey tweeted this about the new 'Deception' novel: "Finished my final review of the #MassEffect Deception novel. A really fun lead-in to #ME3! Kai Leng is a badass. January 31 release."

Just google "Kai Leng gameinformer pic"  -- it brings it up under images, as the very first one.
And yes, he does look very...mechanical.  Would be interesting to see if it was a result of TIM, or one that Kai Leng chose for himself.

It is the picture of the guy in the GI magazine. He is pretty obviously Kai Leng.

It'd be one helluva twist if he joined our side. Does Kai not have any Cerberus symbols on that armor?

- We'll see when Deception releases and we can read it. It might explain why Leng kind of looks like Saren did, and how loyal he actually is to TIM.

The Illusive Man would never allow himself to be in a position in which he could lose control. Kai Leng is extremely loyal of Cerberus and T.I.M. and would not go against him. And I doubt the rest of Cerberus would follow him if he did.

There's one on his chestplate.  It difficult to make out due to image quality and there being a division in it.

I'd imagine Kai Leng would probably be Saren 2.0. He is just a total badass.

It would be pretty sick if he was a squadmate, but the chances of that seem terribly slim. At first when I saw him in GI magazine I though he might be Vega.

Based on the book description it would be him. He has cybernetics, tattoos, looks chinese/russian, works for Cerberus (the icon on the chestplate).

And if you go to the "confirmed" features of ME3 thread, Kai Leng has been announced. 

This concept art was featured in Game Informer.

Yes, but the tattoo mentioned was, if I remember correctly, Uroboros, on the back of his neck. What we see here are just surgery marks, if I had to guess.

But oh well. It definitely looks like the guy. But

:x Ah! My bad. I flipped through the book quickly on amazon (lol preview). 
I assumed the markings on his arms were all tattoos - those are some pretty aesthically pleasing surgery markings.

But was he hurt THAT bad during the fight with Anderson? Why make him a Terminator? I think his legs were shot, and he had a grazed wound on his torso, but that's about it... wait no, something about his fingers too, might explain the augmentations there. But still, if that's Kai Leng, then his cybernetics are too much of an overkill.
