Am I the only one having second thoughts about Ashley?

During the events of Mass Effect 1 and 2, we can confirm Ashley Williams is a snob.

But i'm having my doubts about how much I hate her, as having charm makes her tolerable, and after the "event" in Mass Effect 2 when you meet her, if you were in a past relationship, she sends you an e-mail apologizing for her actions.

And as for Mass Effect 3, the damn woman is promoted to a spectre! Personally, I love the way she let her hair back. It looks less formal. I'm normally a Talimancer, but i'm having my thoughts about Ashely. Maybe she'll drop the speciest attitude. But then again, theres still and Tali. All these romance options are over-whelming.

Well if she drops the "Big stupid jellyfish" attitude, yeah I'd be more interested.

I'm afraid i'm going to have to kill her if she can't settle any differences during galactic genocide.

Ashley? A snobby ice queen b*tch?

You sure you aren't mistaking her for Miranda?

Miranda an ice queen? Surely you jest? She develops a sweet friendly tone when Shepard starts talking to her on the Normandy.

As far as I'm aware, Kasumi is no romance option so that leaves you Tali and Ashley. I have a feeling Ashley's attitude in ME3 can take two different routes. Either she sees that Shepard was right all along, regains full trust in Shepard and also gets rid of that racist attitude (seeing as humanity can't do this alone) OR she becomes a rival of sorts where she challenges Shepard for control of the Normandy and leading the mission. Let's hope it's the first. I would hate for Ashley to leave through an airlock (which she will if route 2 is taken).

I hate her. But the only thing I have second thoughts about is how I so coldly sent her to sit with the bomb. I mean I truly dislike her behavior in many situations, but I more feel like a jerk for wanting her dead for it. She's not space racist enough to join Cerberus, so at least she's doing something right.

If you talk to her before Freedom's Progress, she seems a bit ice queeny. And besides, even other characters call her that.

Right, just because you don't lke somebodies attitude doesn't mean they have to die for it.
And I can't believe that thing about not joining Cerberus never crossed my mind. That is a very good point.

Can say I was all that surprised by the Spectre status. Ashley is one of those characters that at first, I did not care for but she slowly grew on me. I like her and I hope something good happens with her in ME 3.

I saw nothing wrong with her attitude. I didn’t get a cold vibe from her either, or that she was a snob. *shrugs* She is a pretty awesome chick.

ashley isnt exactly my favorite character, but the whole "she's racist! and religious zealot! and snobby!" thing is crazy, how are people even getting that idea? lol

Side with Jack then talk to Miranda.  See how she is then.

I can understand it somewhat.

The "I can't tell the aliens from the animals" comment was kinda racist.

You are joking right? You can argue about if she is actually racist or not, but it is not hard to see where people get the idea.

You will hate her if you have ever watched her stand over Wrex and shoot him over and over whilst hearing his blood filled agonizing grunts.

Eh, I don't really like Ashley much. I preferred Kaidan, so that's why I chose him over Ashley.

She said it, I was thinking it. I didn’t see her as a xenophobe.

"I can't tell the blacks from the animals". That's totally not racist.

Not to mention when she asks if you should be letting aliens on the ship.

Dunno.  My "second thoughts" on Ashley arrived about two seconds after I first met her in ME1.  My first thoughts were, "... pink, huh?" and my second thoughts were, "Hot damn, I like this woman!  :D"

Wtf, hyperbole much? I don’t recall her saying anything about blacks and neither did I. Hanar look like jellyfish. They do. Observing that doesn’t make one xenophobic.
