Hey all! I need a helping hand with Witch Hunt and Golems of Arrmgarak on Nightmare, I've tried a lot of combos so far, and right now I'm working on a Shield Warrior, but any suggestions/tips for a build to make it through these expansions would be appreciated.

Just to let you all know, any build/character would be taken through Origins (with DLC)  & Awakening on Casual/Normal, and then Golems and Witchhunt on nightmare, just so I have a high enough level character with plenty of potions and whatnot.

Spirit Warrior's get 50% dodge with fourth ability. From there you could stack dodge gear to get 100% dodge. Or in Golems respect your warrior into archer with Max dex and use the accuracy talent.

You can do it with just about any build. I tend to run mages (Spirit Healer/Arcane Warrior/Battle Mage specializations usually) I use a lot of sustained spells on my mages. Invigorate (cast first as it reduces the cost of all other spells and of talents for all of your party members), haste, the advanced version of arcane shield which requires the lower version and/or the AW spells along with elemental mastery and one of the elemental damage auras. Petrify, cone of cold, paralysis, crushing prison and the paralysis glyph to stop some of the attackers so they can be dealt with a few at a time, stinging swarm and chain lightning as they do damage to multiple targets and the spirit healer tree to heal and revive as needed. Obviously, lots of mana potions are required.

For a rogue, the shadow warrior skills are ridiculously useful (the zoom around and backstab everyone thing works amazingly well). I tend to build dex/cun rogues with lethality and I give them basic bow skills even when I am primarily playing them as dual wield so that they can start doing damage from afar. The entire new line of dual wield skills available for all post-Origins content is great against top level enemies. They build on eachother, so I use the first in that series, then the second etc. Poisons and bombs are your friend. Spam them at will (but beware of accidentally killing off your own party--friendly fire is on in nightmare)

Finally, I wouldn't start trying to play on nightmare with the DLC. You need to get used to controlling the party at the higher difficulty level before you try controlling the party in content that is significantly more difficult.

As Sami Jo suggested you can have some good options as a Arcane Warrior mage.

Personaly my favorite spec (And Funnest ive played) is a aggressive shield warrior.
In Origins
Get 22 Dex and 11 Cun, everything else into Str.
When you do the Circle tower you will get +4 to aall attributes and +5 to Cun. This will give you 26 Dex which is needed for all shield talents and 16 Cun which is needed for max coercion.

Select Reaver/Templar as your Speciliations.

Play very aggressivly and spam your talents.  Lots of fun.

In Awakening
Keep Boosting Str, but look to add Con from equipment and runes. (You can easily get around 60+ Con from equipment and runes. This works well with Carapace)

You can choose either Spirit Warrior or Guardian Specs, I will give a basic run down of each.
-Spirit Warrior-
Negative -10.0 Stamina Regen Penalty
Upkeep 80 Stamina
+10% Fatigue
+50% Dodge Chance
+45% Spell Resistance
+15% Spirit Damage
+20% Movement Speed
+20% Attack Speed

-Guardian-
Guardians shield reduces damage on a ally well.
Presence Buff that gives the party +15 Armor for 30 seconds.
Aura of the Stalwart Defender, aura that physicaly pulls the enemys to the guardian(Like the Revenants pull) that gets stronger the more str you have. Warning it cuts movement speed significantly.

So Spirit Warrior = More Damage and good defenses
Guardian extra party defense support.

I kinda favour guardian due to the fact that spirit warriors -10 stam regen really hurts a talent spam build. But whats really fun is respecing your character to Reaver/Guardian/Spirit Warrior. Droping the Templar spec so that you can do alot of damage and have great defenses and support your party well.
