Interesting, looks like only USA players have gotten them so far.

Edit: I'd turned emails from EA off in my EA account as well.  Hope that doesn't mean I missed mine. :(

I didn't receive one either (Canada), but when I went to check out the preferences for my EA account, I noticed I didn't have "receive communications" checked.

Posted ImagePosted Image

This could be why, I went in and submitted preferences for my EA profile and it told I has opted OUT of communications as well, so I turned this on.... Hopefully I get an email, if not no biggie.

I live in Europe and haven't received one. I know for a fact that I have checked the box since I have been getting the monthly EA newsletter for several years now.

I live in the USA and haven't gotten one yet, but don't know if I have this turned on or not. How do you turn this on? I have checked the bioware website and haven't found a place to edit it.

USA, nothing here. Not a huge deal, they seem like basic pointers you usually see during loading screens.

@ gstommylee

Yeah I found it thanks, turned out I do have the news letter turned on for both bioware and dragon age, but still haven't gotten anything. Here's to hoping I get one in the near future for a dwarf start :D

...and hopefully it won't end up in my spam or something <_<

I got one for my mage, reading (spoiler):

• The wisps in the fade are weak to cold damage.
• By searching around the repository you may find a powerful staff.

Don’t forget to equip your Lucky Stone ring (+1 to all attributes) when you start your game on November 3! Learn more about this bonus item here.
---

Uploaded a character the first day, multiple updates, live in Canada etc. I bet some people are not getting emails because they're landing in their junkmail or their account just hasn't been sent the info yet for whatever reason.

Edit:  I doubt that being out of communication while this email was being sent matters really.  As long as its turned on for any possible codes that may be sent to activate the lucky stone after launch.

Does the email contain a promo code, or can I claim the ring even without the email?

I'm in the US and haven't gotten anything yet. Hopefully it didn't go to my spam, and I accidentally deleted it. I usually do a quick browse to make sure nothing important is there first, though...

USA here. I don't remember if I saw a 'want news & promo stuff?' checkbox or not, but if I did, i'm certain I would have unchecked it, because that kinda stuff tends to be useless to me. No email here.

Well, I'm not surprised I didn't get one as I have e-mails from BioWare and EA turned off apparently and no clue how to turn them back on.

But for what it's worth, USA here, only have an Elf Mage uploaded.

I thought so, but I've looked and looked and I can't find an option for receiving e-mails from BioWare here or over on the old forums. I hate to derail the thread, but would you or anyone else know where this option might be? Posted Image

Hmm...it might take some time too.

I haven't received any email yet like everyone is describing and I have everything checked under my account settings. Of course, I didn't see a newsletter option under it either, which was strange.

Its in the account settings at the Bioware community forums not the account settings here.

Which makes wonder why its not in the accounts settings here.
