Morrigan as Party Member in the future? (or anyone, really)

Morrigan obviously still has an important part in the Dragon Age Universe, as the OGB's mother and all, so what if she were to appear as a future party member?

WAIT that's not true. I would accept Sacred Ashes Morrigan riding on the back of a gorilla with a naked drunken Oghren screaming behind her to return the gorilla, which would then become the PC's companion.
I would ask for Morrigan to be naked as well, but I think that's pushing it.
Plus it wouldn't go with her character I think for her to just randomly be naked

Sacred Ashes Morrigan is beautiful!

and if you wanted her to not look like SA Morrigan as much as possible, that would result in this:

which IIRC was debunked by a dev, but still...

But seriously, I don't want her as a companion. I love the character, but I think she's too important to be a companion. She can serve a better role as an NPC, much like her mother IMO.

And lots of virtual crimes passionels happened.
And looking as an exact mix of Sacred Ashes Morrigan and not Sacred Ashes Morrigan as is humanly possible.
Seriously, though, I'd like that. I miss the wild witch.
Also, Zevran. (But he better keep his Antivan hands off the new protagonist or there will be blood.)

No.
Assuming it sticks to the mandate of a new PC per game, that would mean BioWare would likely have to account for all the permutations of the Warden+Morrigan and/or the OGB and so forth. Those Morrigan romance flags remain screwed up when imported to DA2. I have little faith at this point in BioWare being able to give any decent reasoning for why a Warden that romanced Morrigan and went through the Eluvian with her wouldn't be around with her for some future game.
Sure they could off screen kill off the Warden or claim he stayed behind to raise the OGB in Eluvian Land or something, but a big part of my interest in Morrigan's story is how it relates to her realtionship and character development via the Warden.
I don't doubt that Morrigan will come back in the future, but given all the variations that could come from the Warden and Morrigan in Origins and Witch Hunt, I have my doubts BioWare could make her reappear without ****ting all over people's Wardens. So unless they're going to actually have her reappearance account for the various end states in a meaningful way and fix her still existing import bugs, I'd rather they just leave well enough alone. But its more likely they'll pull an Anders 2.0 method of character development in reintroducing Morrigan by having her totally different in some way, thus handwaving her past with the Warden.
And the DA2 facemorph system is pure dog excrement, so we'd likely get some mutant abomination like we see above.

I thought 'tis was a word commonly used in.... midieval Europe? Or was it the Renaissance time period? Or was it both?
Anyway, I thought 'tis was an actual word that was used.

If Morrigan does return, I prefer she keep her DAO look, or look more like this:

I repeat what I said on another thread where you posted that line.
I dunno, that Ogre is pretty sexy.

but between the two, there isn't much difference. The hair style is the same and the lips are the same size, though in Sacred Ashes there was a difference in how they looked when they spoke. But I imagine that she would speak like that anyway.. The eyes are not only the same color, but the same design. The only real difference is that of the nose (which of the two I prefer SA over Origins) and that Origins' version of Morrigan had a narrower head that was slightly taller.

Yea, they will bring her back but they will screw over the "Warden+Morrigan fan base". I think they will have Logain be the father of her godchild and go from there. They will do whatever it takes to take the Warden out of everything and in time that goes for Hawke fans too. They seem to bring in all the other characters that were around your "eyes, pcs"..that played the game and make them more important to the story.....thats such BS. She will look funny and act as if the Warden was not even there. They hate the very character you play and make them as some lone character that will never be around or play any important part of your story. The lore never can make up for good characters but they sure as hell think so.....lol.

The SA version is based on Victorria Johnson while the in game version is not. And beyond the hair style and eye color being the same, the overall shape of the faces and features are quite different, IMO.

Yea I know SA Morrigan was based on her, just as SA Leliana was based on someone else (can't remember the name)
But both Morrigans seem to have the same jawline imo.

I would be even less happy if that child suddenly became an integral part of the story considering my warden didn't accept Morrigan's "offer", and actually thought it was the worst idea in the history of bad ideas ("hmm, so we kill the archdemon, and then create something with the same power, to be raised by a person with a terrible idea of good and evil, yeah there's no way that can go wrong"), so as far as I'm concerned that child does not exist.

I maintain that Morrigain should have an actually mute (and cowled) Warden as her companion if she appears. As for the flags being screwed up, you could just handle it via dialogue. ''Oh, the bard Leliana told a story that you were in love with the Warden'' dialogue option clears that right up and locks the new PC out of any romance.
Sure they could off screen kill off the Warden or claim he stayed behind to raise the OGB in Eluvian Land or something, but a big part of my interest in Morrigan's story is how it relates to her realtionship and character development via the Warden.
Or the Warden is working independently, and Morrigain has some means of communicating. I get that you really like Morrigain+Warden, but the reality is that most Morrigain permutations do not involve her + the Warden in any meaningful sense.
I don't doubt that Morrigan will come back in the future, but given all the variations that could come from the Warden and Morrigan in Origins and Witch Hunt, I have my doubts BioWare could make her reappear without ****ting all over people's Wardens.
Sure they could. The only problem is the <3 Warden that goes with her through the Eluvian.
But Bioware already showed they don't care about ****ting all over someone's Warden when they made DA:A to start with.
But its more likely they'll pull an Anders 2.0 method of character development in reintroducing Morrigan by having her totally different in some way, thus handwaving her past with the Warden.
Posessed by Flemeth, you mean?
