Also for new companions and romance options I would like Cassanda Pentaghast, Tallis, Cullen, and Rhys from the next DA novel; The guy sounds promising.
Wow, this is spooky, because this is exactly what I've been thinking!
I'd also like to be able to choose what race and origin to play, choices to matter and no recycled areas. I'd also like more customisation, should as changing weapons and armor for every companion. And instead of them getting worse as time goes on like in Dragon Age 2, I'd like it if Bioware would go back to the system in Origins where the weapons and armor got better as you levelled up. I'd much prefer it if Bioware kept the combat from Dragon Age 2 the same in Dragon Age 3 (although maybe make it a bit more tactical, especially for PC players). As as for companions, make them more intereting and rich in detail, give them more personal quests like in Dragon Age 2, but with more detail and rewarding like in Origins. Also, keep the voiced protagonist but give them more dialogue options.
Oh and please redesign the elves Bioware! Make them more humanlike. The only good ones were Fenris and Tallis (their designs were brilliant) but the rest looked like skinny rats in my opinion.

Keep the Companions like they were in DA2 Real people instead of robots you could bribe with dog bones into agreeing with you
Multiple character origins, but all voices [might be expensive i dont care]
Less Campy
Female Qunari Love interest
The ability to use Blood Magic In Dialogue

-Realistic Male romances (Sebastion is prude, Fenris makes me want to kill myself, Anders is a terrorist)
-Merril

-multiple races
-large dynamic world
-choices that change the plot
-better graphics
-references to past DA games (especially in the Codex)
-better companion romances (origins was good, dragon age 2's were rather underwhelming)
-more companion chatter. that's just fun
-very strong story with a clear direction
-side quests that are more than "fetch this" or "kill that". perhaps ones that add more content to the companion banter, or reveal something new about the main plot.

-no warden or Hawke as PC
-Race Selection (Human, Elf, Dwarf, maybe Qunari) with race playing a larger role than DA:O, with certain companions liking you more based on that
-keep the horned qunari, but have some non-horned qunari as well
- change the qunari so that they can wear clothing and armor and can use a hair and face morphing tool like any other race
-female dwarves: this is non-negotiable
-get rid of the spastic combat animations, teleporting rogues and backflipping templars
- unique armor for companions that can be swapped out in favor of generics, like Morrigan in DA:O I really dont see why this is hard
-DA:O style hurlocks and DA:A and DA:O style ogres
-smithing of generic armor sets
-dont just stop at changing the dalish accent into welsh, but change the Tevinters and Free Marchers to have unique accents as well (Greek, Scottish, Russian?) English should be unique to Ferelden peoples
-Setting is not Ferelden or the Free Marches
-it is also not stuck in one city
-elves are a hybrid of DA:O and DA2 styles, normal noses, bigger ears
-combine the approve/disapprove system and the friendship/rivalry system into a xy axis
-a release date sometime in late 2013

- A PC and companions who are controllable by the gamer. The player should be able to make decisions and not respond to a set story.
- A world that reacts to the PC's taken story position and selected class/skills within the game.
- The game should be aware that the gamer is an intelligent being and who doesn't need hand holding.
- A story that is written for a adults - that doesn't mean more sex and violence, but it shouldn't feel like a Disney production with capitation for the whole family.
- Customization is a large part of the fun. Expand on it. Give more options than ever. Don't use companion armor. The companions become icons for what they do and how well they are written and "iconizing" them with companion armor doesn't do the trick.
- The cinematics should not be the only sources to determine story progress and whatever decisions are made within the dialogue should be reflected in the other gameplay.
- The game mechanics shouldn't be simplified, because the players are able to think just fine.
- Exploration should be a large part of the game and the map should not be a collection of locations where all points of interests, puzzles and bosses *have* to be visited.
- Archers should have a richer skill set and not be forced to use a skill set designed for duel wielding.
- Tactical gameplay in which ranging matters - the environments need to be designed in such a way that the PC, depending on the class and skills, can do both close combat and ranged combat.
- Tactical gameplay requires a specialized tactical view which shows the entire battlefield.
- Tactical gameplay requires that the location of foes does not change dramatically by making them jump all across the battlefield.
- Tactical gameplay also requires that combat can be avoided by stealthy PCs.
- Bow strings.
- Forced "random encounters" shouldn't be artificial - i.e. they should exist in the game world in advance.
- There should be more meaningful loot with a centralized user friendly interface.
- Especially the interface for the PC users should get extra care. The mouse and keyboard should not be treated like a console controller. Dialogue and lists should reflect PC conventions and not be simplified console adaptions. Of course the console needs the same kind of care. One platform should not suffer from another platform's conventions and limitations.
- Extra care should be taken to make use of the graphics capabilities of the PC. Without getting in a console war, it is obvious that the PC has more advanced capabilities and those should be included in the game. Do what games used to do: Push the limits of the technology and not only for consoles.
- The marketing department should be aware that its targeted audience is able to think and that its audience considers broken promises to be lies. Too many promises have been made in DA2 which absolutely turned out to be false and were merely there for the hype - especially the "world shapes around the player's decisions". They should be aware that the audience is able to think for themselves. They have a long way to go to restore trust.
- The designers should be aware that the use telemetric data may cause games to tun into a grey pulp in which all games look alike.
- The collection of telemetric data should be turned off by default - i.e. it should be opt-in, instead of a vague opt-out.
- The single player game should not need any internet connection to be able to play.
- The game should respect the privacy of the gamer and not collect any data. If you want the trust of gamers then leave data collection out of the game. This includes the distribution platform. If game development is helped by data collection then this must be an opt-in facility in which the player knows which data will be collected and when and why. The data should not be sold to third parties and not be used by third party contractors.
- Above all, put some care and love into the game. I really missed that in DA2.

It's just... I mean. I can't play mages because of it. I'm literally incapable of personally hand-waving why nobody there seems to really care that you are one whilst conjuring firestorms in backalleys. This isn't like, say, Skyrim, where I can go on a murdering spree or walk to a quest giver naked and whilst some people will react to it I'll still get sent to go kill dragons and hailed as a hero. I didn't have to go out of my way to immediately and irreparably break the immersion when playing DA2. I just have to pick a certain class. Don't do that again.

- More political intrugues, less fighting.
- More party and NPC responsiveness.
- Origins-style combat, but more refined.
- New companions and new protagonist.
- "Deeper" companions, so no DA2-style shallowness.
- Less "Kill X" quests.

At least they were not "I hate you, so I love you" types. Rivalry - Friendship system is one of the many elements that ruined companions in DA2.
