I'm just now reading "The Calling" and I have to say, great job Dave. I've enjoyed every bit of the book so far. Good plot twists and all. I do have to say though I called Fiona and Maric getting it on when they first met, but then again you caught me by surprise with Julien and Nicholas.
Once again great job, can't wait for "Asunder" !

The man hates chapters. The only thing I could think toward the end of each was MY GOD WILL IT NEVER END MAKE IT GO AWAY. Asunder is going to be 500 pages in five chapters, I bet.
I got much enjoyment from them (but I also love his characters the most out of all the writers, so I was bound to). The result of the first couple surprised me (I'm clueless like that); I was of two minds on the second, but I guess it's a situation of being damned if you do...

Yes, Complistic, he wrote some parts of Dragon Age 2, and Gaider was the head writer of the storyline in Dragon Age 2, so the stories of Decimus thinking Hawke and his moiety of companions are templars, Quentin becoming Doctor Frankenstein with Leandra because no one has capable of locating a simple wooden hatch for three years, Grace becoming another mage idiot (because complex plots involve the depiction of antagonists as though they come from the Rocky and Bulwinkle show), and Orsino and Meredith's turn into epic stupidity made manifest at the end of Act III would fall under his responsibility.

I doubt it. I think it's just a franchise thing (Mike will enforce the rules, and I'm sure David will have truck with him, but I don't think he'd be directly involved). Surely the script won't have any David in it.ProneToGlory wrote...

And parts of BG2. And parts of KotOR. And parts of SoU/HotU. And Origins. Along with a lot of the best characters.Complistic wrote...

If you're asking if he personally plotted Dragon Age II, then the answer is no. He lead the small group that wrote the story the team came up with.
