It didn't go gold. They're iterating and doing quality passes on all the content. The time for adding anything new has passed. 

No game goes gold 6 months before release. It doesn't take that long to press discs and ship them out. It takes about a month.

It didn't go gold. They're iterating and doing quality passes on all the content. The time for adding anything new has passed. 

Yeah, if it had gone gold, it would probably be coming out within a month. For sure in time for Christmas.

Um, that's not at all what he said, actually. Casey basically remarked that they're going into the final production phase at this point, not that they're done with everything. They're still working on it, just in the final stage, which can take months. I wouldn't expect ME3 to go gold until at least late January.

Considering the poor quality of any ME series DLC, I wouldn't buy them anyway. The only worthwhile DLC for any ME game was LoTSB which was very well done and well thought out. It felt really good since Liara was written in nicelyl from her experience with Shep during the ME run. The rest felt of the DLCs like tacked on throw-aways. I didn't pay Arrival, and still won't. Too many friends say it may be the worst DLC ever, ranking with Witch Hunt from DA:O, and that's a serious claim to make.

Oh look, a professional critic. What a surprise. They were all good. Want bad DLC? Play "The Force Unleashed".

Overlord was longer then LotSB and Arrival was actually good. **** DA, everything about that series is fail.

Maybe there'll be a DLC where Shepard jams his cabin so full of crap that it spills into the hallway and there's an intervention by the crew and squaddies, like on Hoarders.  And there'll be a husk from the Collector attack squished under a pile of hundreds of issues of Fornax that fell over on it. Something like that.

This is the most excited I have ever been about an idea on these forums ever. Which crewmembers would intervene?

Oh look, some forumite with a Liara avatar thought LotSB was the only good ME DLC. What a surprise, considering it was one long Liara Sue episode.

That was Arrival.  There will also be another set of stories just before ME3 releases.

I say work on ME3. But maybe give me the rest of the alternate appearance packs. Call me OCD but it bugs me I don't have and alternate appearance pack for everyone.

Remember the buzz about a DLC with the Virmire Survivor? If Bioware wasn't working on ME3 that's what I'd be hoping to come out.

Think the only thing remaining for ME2 at this point is the 2 weeks of Cerberus Daily News leading up to the beginning of ME3 that was promised a long, long time ago.

Yeah, I agree about the AAP, having half the squad with packs and half without feels really... IDK. (It's like an unclosed parenthetical.

Holding off any more playthroughs (don't really need any more though) until Samara has armor or BioWare annouces no more DLC item packs for ME2. Whichever comes first.

My fish always died, I can't keep them alive, but my space hamster is just fine. Also I notice two that there are two classified characters. I though it could be Kaidan or Ashley.
