I'm not sure whether the servers are down for maintenance or what not, but I'm having trouble connecting to the Cerberus Network.
Whenever I try, all I get is an error saying 'Communication with the Mass Effect 2 server was interrupted or has timed out. Please try again later.'
This was working for me fine this morning and I can't find anything that says the servers are down. I've also tried connecting to the Dragon Age 2 servers and I get the same problem with not being able to connect to those servers.
I wouldn't have a problem if I could access my DLC without being connected to the network, but seeing as I can't... It's a problem.
Can anyone help?
Can't connect to Cerberus Network.

Technically you don't need to be connected to the internet in order to play (or use) any of your dlcs. I play exclusively offline with no problems.
So let me ask you this: which problem are you wanting assistance on? (1) Connection to the servers? or (2) How to play offline?
There's not much I can do about (1), but there are solutions to (2).

Same question applies to you too. On what are you seeking assistance to?
EDIT; typos.

I would suggest the simple thing of not connecting the 360 to XBox Live; thus denying the console, and hence the game, access to the servers.

It seems to be a problem with the EA servers. I am getting this same error with Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age Origins, and Dragon Age Awakening. However, any non-EA game can connect to its servers just fine. There is a HUGE thread on this in the EA forums.

Here's a link to the Xbox 360 connectivity FAQ: http://support.ea.co.../detail/a_id/46
One step mentions deleting saved data, as sometimes corrupt saved data can cause issues. This is only to be done as a final step once all other steps have failed as you cannot retrieve deleted saved data.
You will have to redownload your DLC and the Cerberus Network after clearing the cache, but this should not affect any saved games, provided you redownload all DLC that is contained in the save game.

Tried all that, still doesn't work. Plus the fact that on other games it works fine. This is an issue with EA servers

This is a fix I discovered on my own months back when I had this problem. It also worked for a lot of other people. Not saying I was the first to ever figure it out but I did happen to find it on my own. I TOO was noticing only EA games could not connect to their networks but others would. I was messing around in the settings on my Xbox and I stumbled across the date and time, I noticed my clock was about 5 minutes ahead of time. Once I corrected the time, everything worked. I came here and posted it and a few other people posted back saying it worked. Its weird, but theres no way it was a coincidence.
My guess is EA must have some weird server thing that conflicts with your system having a different time? I have no idea..

That is a possible solution that has been mentioned by some posters a long time back (I'd forgotten about that one). The thought is that the 360's clock has to match that of the servers. Some found success while others didn't (those that didn't cited that they couldn't change the time settings on the 360 due to the time being automatically set if connected to XBox Live). Certainly worth a shot.

It could be that you deleted a DLC and/or it has to do with your ME2 Import Character data. I deleted ME2 off my Hard Drive and I still could not login to Cerberus Network. I can now login to Cerberus Network, because I had to delete my ME2 Import Character data. I would recommend that you delete your ME2 Import Character data first, if you deleted any DLC's or redownload the DLC's you deleted.

I have heard that about the clock thingy. The thing is that it's happening with ALL my EA related games (ME2, DA origins, DA Awakening, DA2, Madden series). Now one of my buddies that had this problem was able to contact Xbox and they said that EA was trimming down some of their servers, which seems like a logical explanation. But a lot of people are PO'ed that EA is being tight-lipped on what is going on.
Not a good sign with ME3 coming out next year.

Deleting ME2 off your hard drive does not help much. I'm still having this problem, as soon as I download the DLC's. Does not look good for ME3.

From the looks of things I would state that there's little I can add to another suggestions of a fix; everything I am aware of has already been stated.
Given the prevalence of the problem though it does seem to be squarely an EA server issue, as it seems to be 'dominating' the tech boards for DA of late as well. In what sense it is a server issue I have no claims to knowing, though I would state that there's probably little an end user can do. Unless EA_AgentX says otherwise anyway.

Had issues with it myself. For some reason, setting the clock ahead works. Weird....I don't know why....
EDIT: Nope....I take it back....it's not working anymore. The clock trick isn't doing anything. Must be an issue with the servers on EA's side.

I'm having this issue too. Did all steps recommended, clearing cache, resetting system time, and rebooting xbox, and even deleted a few dead-end careers, and still no luck.
Though, randomly, I got into the cerberus network once this morning, and ever since, still no luck.
Can't connect to the DA2 servers, either.
Weirdly, might it be related to Mass Effect: Galaxies? I played that and finished it a few days ago, and right after I did so, I used my EA account to get the reward and cerberus network and DA2 servers starting becoming inaccessible.

Same here, not able to connect to Cerberus network .
I cleared my cache, put the xbox in the DMZ and gave it a static address, did the clock thing, reset my router, checked my network connection, no joy.
