Im not saying "THERE IS" a Prothean buddy, just that there was an "indication" that there was one. That page was taken down pretty fast, so nobody really knows. Would be cool though.

haha funny, but with the galaxy at stake and in war I think they would have more pressing concerns, if geth and quarian can work together then human and batarian can 

that said I would like it if you had a companion that hated you instead of thinking you are the king/queen of everything

I would like a Volus Tupari salesman as a squadie. He just goes around the battlefield, like a biotic wind, selling, even Geth, a bottle of Tupari, "Now with 10% Tupo berry extract!"

Honestly, why can we never have more than one of a particular alien species avaliable? However much I like Tali and Garrus it would be nice to see some new Quarian's and Turians (preferably male and female respectively) Especially since Tali and Garrus can die. 

I'd rather see the current races fleshed out more and given more voices in the squad than some Batarian or Volus thrown in.

It's about time they broke the "token Squadmember from each race" rule they've had for the first two games.

Vorcha on my ship?

Vorcha would just crap on my floor and eat my fish. Not to mention that some my gear would be missing. No no no I dont like that idea at all!

I want at least one of the races we've had in our team so far and maybe one or two new ones. For Example:

1 Geth: Legion (if died no geth squadmate)
1 Turian: Garrus or other turian (if Garrus died)
1 Quarian: Tali or Kal Reeger (if Tali died)
1 Krogan: Wrex or Grunt
1 Drell: Thane or Feron (if thane can't fight due to illness)
1 Asari: Liara (or Samara/Morinth or Aria if given the choice)
1 Salarian: Mordin or Kirrahe (If Mordin died)
1 New race squadmate (Batarian, Yahg, Raloi, Virtual Aliens, Rachni)

The rest could be humans from previous games depending on your choice.
VS and Vega are given

My Normandy isn't an equal opportunity employer, it's a meritocracy.

Therefore it's unlikely it will see a batarian squaddie unless we go slaving since that's all batarians are good at

he was probably put in charge of any captives they may have taken

No way, theres already talk of your squad being more like ME1 where there arn't near as many suad members. Bioware might introduce a new race or two but to me, that just doesnt seem as though it would work out.
