They should do what Gearbox is doing with Borderlands 2 and scrap all the old weapons. Then make completely new weapon concepts from the ground up.

A Gatling Heavy Gun would be cool. Or MGS4's Rail Gun.

Actually, one weapon I'd like to see a return is the Claymore.

Ideally they make some SMGs that you hold with both hands. Avenger, Geth Pulse Rifle, Katana, and Mantis I really wouldn't miss. I hardly use heavy weapons, but they're funny to use at times, and a great convience if you just want to skip a part of a mssion. I would like Spectre gear to come back.

Agreed. As long as they feel special. But then, the N7 arsenal is also there, so I think it will fill that special weapons role.

i prefer it over the eviscerator. i couldnt tell you why, i know its a worse weapon overall. i just like it more for some reason lol.

Want to return:
- geth plasma shotgun.

I don't want any 1 weapon to be removed, but I would like the players to bring out the weapons they have in their posession. In cutscenes a player will bring out a gun they aren't currently using.... it is especially annoying when they can't use it (ME2) e.g. infiltrator and matlock assault rifle.

I read a post in these forums about a shooting range in ME3, and this seems to go along with it. I hope all these guns make it in, and that I'll be able to use them to fight against the reapers. That new gun that Someone With Mass posted looks really cool.

Every weapon from ME2 should return since I spent a long time upgrading all of them..

If anything I want more weapons to be added. Only 2 pistols? 1 good SMG?

Three pistols.

And the SMGs are all good if you use them correctly.
