My DLC is busted too, "online profile storage" timeout every time, first Soldier's Peak wasn't appearing on map to select.
This sucks, can't load my game save...

Bioware or EA will never answer a thread like this and if they do, it'll be a first. EA is known for there lack of care or concern for there games or the people who buy them. Anyone who has bought any of the NHL games for a PS2 knows this.
Now, I have a different problem. I signed up in the game for a account on here but can't use that account info to sign in when I'm on the PC. These kinds of bugs should have been worked out before the game went live, but knowing EA, I'm not surprised.

On the PC as well, it's been 11 days since my online profile was updated.. Three characters started and finished in that time..

Addicted much? Assuming an average of 50 hours per playthrough, that's over 13 hours per day...maybe you should take some time off for sleep/work/family/friends before caring about your online profile.

I used the CC so I could get the Lucky Stone. It appeared in my inventory for all my saved games. But it never showed up in my DLC in the main menu and its not stored on my hard drive. Now when I am not hooked up to xbox live I can't load my games. I wonder how I can get the Lucky stone to show up in my DLC and then save it to the harddrive.

I sure do hope ME2 has more support than DAO, coz if it does, to eck with EA. I know BIoware can partner up with some good corporate mogul other than EA.

EA tech support suggested changing the date of the xbox360 to 11/15/2005 ... i haven't gotten the error again though so i haven't tried it. although my character hasn't updated since level 6 (all my achievements do though, practically instantly), so perhaps i should give it a shot. they also said this game is not recommended to use the install-to-harddrive feature. but quite frankly i'm running into just as many errors not using it that i might just go ahead and reinstall it since i like my xbox quiet and cooler. so buggy... where is the orkin man.

I tried creating that EA.com account and that hasn't solved my problem so I'm not sure what can be done at this point.

I had the same issue before but today I was able to se my characters in "profile diagnostics" for the first time. Still no avatar for my first char though. :rage:

um ok, i'll try to copy/paste it. btw, this tech rep was pretty polite. i hear EA has rude/bad support. although this might not be the best answers in the world, the rep was really nice. i posted the whole thing, just in case it answers another question someone might have had.

oh, my character profile finally loaded to it's proper lvl 23... lol! (it was lvl 6 for the longest time).

I really don't understand why they wanted to have this feature. It seems like such a headache that they can't get it to work right. None of my characters displays the correct level, they all have inconsistencies in the 'journal' part and the dwarf portraits will not upload. I don't think it is that big of a deal but I really don't understand why they want a feature like this when they can't make it work right.

yeah, they should have kept it on the back burner a little bit longer until it was more functional (mass effect 2 release perhaps?). but it's really bad when the game almost is as buggy as this site which is still beta. would be nice to at least get acknowledgments of bugs. i mean, for a game that is supposedly getting more dlc, you would think they would be quicker/more vocal about supportting the game.

Well, it seems my timeout errors are back again. Prodigy....thats a joke, right? To use dao online, you have to be connected to xbox live. xbox live doesnt allow to change your date, it automatically resets date/time when connecting to the service....coughs @ EA...

Yeah I had a ce copy of DoA since day one and have constantly gotten that error even though I'm connected to live, have the game registered both w EA and Bioware but oddly enough I've had no issues w my dlc content except the Journeys items not showing up since I can't connect to the DoA servers. Just don't really understand what the issue is but /shrug.

well I see I ain't the only one in the boat - not sure that is a good thing though. I thought this was an EA screw up as it started happening to me after EA tried to give me a DLC part for free. my character hasn't updated since level 8 (12/7/09) - definitely a joke - and I got the same rigamaroe (sp?) from EA support about changing the date (after they gave me info for fixing the problem on a sony ps3 when I had said xbox 360) - I even had one EA guy tell me to take a screen shot of the error also after I had said I was on an xbox 360 - EA support has been a joke so far. and as for the date change - when it says to find the system blade - isn't that referring to the old dashboards? and not even updated information? I was hoping to find an answer here but since I didn't I figure I might as well vent some!
also since my character did update to level 8 on here - wasn't I supposed to get some kinda of necklace or jewelry for my character? if I read some posts right that is supposed to automatically show up in inventory? or can someone clear that up for me? thanks!

heh I just got my account information might not be valid error on the 360. yet i can still play my game and dlc. this whole issue just seems really ...well to put it blunt a cluster..*%#% atm.
