Ok, so I'm starting to get a little confused about the different accounts that are used for this game.

In the CC (and also the Journeys flash game) you log in using your EA account. So how does this SocialNetwork account factor in? If you must log in with your EA account, how does the character info show up here at the SocialNetwork which requires a completely different login?

I've also been unable to upload my characters made in the CC. I finish making the character then click "Upload" and it has an error.

Am I doing something wrong?

you link your account here to your EA account. if you have two different ones you obviously cannot upload your character.

You can connect your EA and BioWare accounts. I use one log in for both BioWare and the social network section after I accomplished the linkage.

This thread probably belongs in the web site help forum.

On the old forums, go to My Account -> Edit My Account, Select the EA Master Account item under Preferences, then select the option to associate your EA account with the old BioWare account. Your account here will then reference settings from the old account (most obvious when registering, where you will skip some information fields if reclaiming an old BioWare account).

Everything is hooked up to your EA account. If you don't have one when registering here, one will automatically be created for you during the process. If you create an account from within the character creator you will likewise automatically get an EA account (but I don't know if that will also register you here; I don't think so). You do not need the old BioWare account for anything.

What is the error you are getting when attempting to upload?

In your BioWare account page, there's should be a button that says "EA Master Account". If you've created an EA account already, you put in your EA account email and password and linkage proceeds. I've found you had to have a password without special characters for it to work, though.

Ok, I did what you said and apparently I have two accounts associated with my EA account (this account, and the account for the other BioWare forums, like I use for the NWN2 forums). Is this what's causing the problems?

And here's what it says when I try to upload:
"A server error occurred while attempting to access your online profile storage". The "Uploading" bar is still flashing though and the whole program freezes.

Your account here is automatically tied to your EA account, no way around that. The old account isn't by default and doesn't have to be at all. Whether you link the old account to your EA account or not shouldn't matter (or else the people without an old account would not be able to upload their characters).

How often have you tried and have you always gotten this error?

Does it matter what the "primary" account is? When I look at the profiles linked to my EA account, like I said two are listed but the old one is listed as the primary.

Unless somebody else has experienced the same and can say otherwise, I suggest waiting a few days and see if the problem persists. It doesn't sound like a local problem (but if you have any active firewalls you could always try disabling them).

Same here. I don't know if there's a way or reason to change it, but I know I haven't had any problems at all.

Go to profile.ea.com, login, and choose the option to add a new persona.

does anyone know what to do if there is a profile switch. I have a friend who has Dragon age origins on xbox 360 and for some reason i got his character list instead of mine......and i am for some reason logged in as his xbox gamer tag as opposed to mine.
