Yeah,drell look disgusting in the comics,so maybe female Turians look better in-game,still....no boobs that would just be unforgivable,what humans call feminine need not apply to all species.

Why no boobs? Everything is better with boobs.

Boobs=mammal
  Turian=/=mammal

And as I said,human femininity need not apply to all species.

I am pro-boobs,but they have no place on turians.

How do you know if Turians are mammal or not? As far as I know they don't lay eggs.

I remember reading once a long time ago that the designers for Turians got their inspiriation from hawks, falcons, and other raptors.

Seeing as they all lay eggs, it could be a possibility.

Well...you got me there,I can only assume they aren't mammalian,but there is a high possibility they are reptilian or avian,which is where I base it.

And it would be kind of silly if they added boobs out of no where.

My non-lore guess for the Asari is that because there would have been a general uproar among people if Mass Effect rleeased with an all-female species that didn't have boobs.

Personally, I'd like to see females of other species - Drell, mostly. Salarians too.

What's wrong with the female Turians from the comics?

Bioware already gave us bangable space-babes with the Asari and Quarians may still turn out pretty hot. They can't make every race conform to our sense of beauty, otherwise what is the point of having aliens.

Female Turians actually are more believable in that comic pic than the fanpic, considering they most likely won't have a more elevated arch in the head bones and what not. Features like this animals are usually only reserved for males and mostly for attracting females in the first place.

Think of the turians like peacocks,females are brown and plainish,males have all the attractive features to attract mates.

Its not a question of wanting the female Turians to be "Bangable space-babes", its a question of them looking the way they are supposed to look like. The so called "female Turians" (if you can call them that) that were seen in the comics do not fit the description Garrus gave about them and infact they dont even look like they are the same species as male Turians.

According to Garrus male Turians compliment female Turians head-fringe among other things. The Comic "Fem-Turians" have NO fringe of any kind, so it is a little pointless to compliment something that they dont have. Now, I suppose you could argue that there are exceptions to the rule, which is fair enough I suppose, except pretty much EVERY female Turian we saw were totally fringless.

You could also argue that Garrus wasn't being completely honest or that he was exaggerating, but are you really suggesting that? Also, why would he lie/exaggerate about it? I'm gonna go with that he was being honest, so his description is Canon. Besides Mass Effect 2 came out before the comic, and therefore established the rules and the comic is a clear contradiction.

That piece of Fanart is good example for a good baseline from which to develop a female turian. It actually looks like a Turian, it actually has a fringe, looks female without being overly sexualized (by human standards of beauty) and No "funny-bumps". So there, in the words of Jeremy Clarksson, "How hard can it be?". All that remains is to slighty tweek its fringe size and length, its tattoos and facial structure depending on the type of character you want.

So yeah, the comics "Fem-Turians" look wrong, Garrus is still correct and making a female Turian is actually quite simple.

Do you know what a fringe is? What the word encompasses?

I'm just quoting what they were refered to as in-game. Garrus was talking about complimenting the "Fringe" and I could not at the top of my head come up with a more appropriate term. If the term is incorrect and there is a better word, then my misstake then.

However despite that misstake, the points I made still stand, its quite simple to make a female Turian that actually looks turian, has the "crest/horns" (or whatever you wish to refer to them as), has not got any "Funny-Bumps" and dosent look overly sexualized, etc.

This topic has come up before, that is not the "real" look of female turians. It actually is a design flaw. As for the final design of "in-game" turians, we haven't seen it yet. (I don't think.)

Could someone confirm that this is a design flaw? I see shallow "arguments", nothing more. They have a fringe, and their "funny bumps" are nowhere near to asari/human breasts, and the groundskeeper convo WAS cut for a reason ANYWAY. The hips are identical to male turians. We just don't see the latter out of their armor much.
