Found this on google. I think this kinda thing would be very typical but it works.

According to Garrus male Turians compliment female Turians head-fringe among other things. The Comic "Fem-Turians" have NO fringe of any kind, so it is a little pointless to compliment something that they dont have.

Bah, I want Garrus' sister to be hot so Shepard can marry her and be Garrus' legal brother
That would be creepy

Will we see any Female Turion's in ME3
"The salarians are amphibian haplo-diploid egg-layers; unfertilized eggs produce males and fertilized eggs produce females. Once a year, a salarian female will lay a clutch of dozens of eggs. Social rules prevent all but a fraction from being fertilized. As a result, 90% of the species is male." -mass effect wiki

First of all its TuriAn
"Males and females do not differ greatly in physical appearance, but female turians lack the crest of horns found in the males of the race."
thats the only info on the females on the mass effect wiki
No she doesn't. The groundskeeper at the Citadel says to fem shep (see didymos's unused audio threads) that she has those funny bumps asari have. He calls her breasts funny since female turians don't have them.Saphra Deden wrote...

It's turian*. And here you go.
Not sure if we'll see them in ME3.
She's got a pair of hips on her almost as godo as Tali's... and I see breast humps.

Yes, well that piece of info is in turn from Mass Effect: Evolution and we still haven't had a word (as far as I've heard/read) from any people from Bioware stating if it really is canon that females dont have a crest/horns.

I can understand females having less exotic head fringes in comparison to the males, but having so little head fringe at all just baffles me.

Bioware don't owe anyone confirmations of already released canon material. The unused audio is unused for a reason, and a female turian is used instead of a male, also, for a reason. Just stop swimming against the stream, people.

Its not a question of wanting the female Turians to be "Bangable space-babes", its a question of them looking the way they are supposed to look like. The so called "female Turians" (if you can call them that) that were seen in the comics do not fit the description Garrus gave about them and infact they dont even look like they are the same species as male Turians.
According to Garrus male Turians compliment female Turians head-fringe among other things. The Comic "Fem-Turians" have NO fringe of any kind, so it is a little pointless to compliment something that they dont have. Now, I suppose you could argue that there are exceptions to the rule, which is fair enough I suppose, except pretty much EVERY female Turian we saw were totally fringless.
You could also argue that Garrus wasn't being completely honest or that he was exaggerating, but are you really suggesting that? Also, why would he lie/exaggerate about it? I'm gonna go with that he was being honest, so his description is Canon. Besides Mass Effect 2 came out before the comic, and therefore established the rules and the comic is a clear contradiction.

That piece of Fanart is good example for a good baseline from which to develop a female turian. It actually looks like a Turian, it actually has a fringe, looks female without being overly sexualized (by human standards of beauty) and No "funny-bumps". So there, in the words of Jeremy Clarksson, "How hard can it be?". All that remains is to slighty tweek its fringe size and length, its tattoos and facial structure depending on the type of character you want.
So yeah, the comics "Fem-Turians" look wrong, Garrus is still correct and making a female Turian is actually quite simple.
