I figured that Tali was mammalian. Think about it, she has mamory glands, and her species gives live birth. That to me says mammal. Granted she and shep are made out of different protiens, so I still figure they cannot mate.IEatWhatIPoo wrote...

Shepard is human.. a mammal.
Wrex is a Krogan.. a reptile.
They cannot interbreed.
Same goes for Garrus.
And Thane.
And Grunt.
And Tali.
Shepherd's child with squadmember (ME2 or ME3)

There isn't even a comparable example on earth, since everything here is related in some distant way.

Aye, a mammal she may be, but she is still a different species.

Uhm, sure it qualifies, my point however was that these pics are harmless in comparison. In fact I am wondering why you complained about them in the first place when you've seen vids like that...Arken wrote...

Does Mordin need to have a talk with Shepard about protection in addition to his normal dialog on LIs?
...actually that'd be hilarious, I'm all for Mordin giving Shepard the talk.
Shepard: Do you have time to talk?
Mordin: Actually, wanted to talk. Medical matters. Aware of your...stress relieving activities and somewhat concerned.
Shepard: Oh? What do you mean.
Mordin: Ah...difficult dicusssion. Mildly embarassing. Have noticed that despite the frequency of occurance, Normandy's supply of birth control materials still being used at previous rate.
Shepard: Why would I use birth control? Everyone knows you can't get pregnant if you do it in space. That's just a fact.
Mordin: Can see that this discussion will take much longer than previously expected.... Have procured banana as a visual aid.
Thanks for making me laugh.

First off, quarian are not mamals, krogan are not dinosaurs, drell are not reptiles, salarians are not amphibians, rachni are not insects, the fish in Shepard's tank are not fish, etc. Those terms only apply to beings that evolved on earth, and each species in 'Mass Effect' would have their own taxanomy.JBONE27 wrote...

Which isn't to say that 'Mass Effect' beings can't have traits similar to those of creatures that evolved on Earth. Or, in the case of the non-fish that you're able to purchase, a parallel evolution. Regardless, Earth's taxonomic classifications do not apply.
Second, there's no confirmation that quarians have mamory glands. What appear to be breasts could be venom sacks. Or a bone ridge. Or a handful of other things to cover up BioWare's fanservice. Also, where has it ever been indicated that quarians have live birth?
Humans and chimpanzees share 99% of our genetic code, and we can't mate with them. The human genetic code correlates about 50% with bananas. We also can't mate with them. Although we'd have a much better chance of doing so than with a quarian who shares 0% of our genetic code. And are not mammals. And have unknown sex organs.
