Just about everyone has one thing or another they do besides gaming to kill the time. What's your hobby outside of gaming to add some extra flavor to your life? I personally like to collect art of every type, though most tends to be fantastical in nature.

I like watching paint dry. Seriously, what else is there to do outside of gaming?

Well, other than trivial stuff like listening to music, occasionally playing it, collecting stuff, tinkering with other stuff until it doesn't work any more, photographing things, eating, having insomnia and annoying my other half; they generally use up the rest of my time.

Historian in some respect, mainly Military, and Geo-political History/Current events. I have many books on the subject, and in the technical aspects of various weaponary. I do some limited gunsmithing and repair work as a hobby as well. Also am bit of a Scifi lover. Namely Star Wars. Though I enjoy reading in general.

Sports/tactical Shooting, though I've been doing it less here lately given the damnable Urbanization of the surrounding area. I like to go on trail walks, swimming, and I do some martial arts still, though I hardly have the chance for sparring anymore. Some Swordsmenship with the heavier Melee and chain weapons I used.

Also some horticulture, and I put together Plastic models. I also am an advid Hunter. Though this season has proven to be a full failure which is a shame given the huge stocks of game and realitively small number of hunters.

The problem is going in hand with the Urbanization is that many farmers and the like who used to welcome hunters now want money (and ungodly amounts at that, differing from 100 a day to 500 a year, JUST to go on the land) or have no tresspassing signs, which have forced me to use Federal Lands, where I foolishly fallowed the rules, while other hunters baited, and ran dogs and fourwheelers, which was illegal. Hardly a weekend I was down there that the cops weren't called in.



I don't have much of a social life, being most of my friends have turned into lazy/home bodies or have moved away, so I have a wide range of hobies to keep me busy.

Usually I work out, play football and go on bizarre drinking adventures with the weirdo's I associate with but I've spent most of the last year with various back injuries and currently can barely stand up. So I'm down to games, TV, reading and music while I wait to get it fixed. I'm very very bored and getting fat...
