Did anybody even mention the words "high-resolution" or "patch"? Anybody at all?

Nope, ... that wasn't brought forth, nor did we ask about it ... damn.

Maybe if you guys file some questions in here I will try presenting them next time. But that might be tomorrow and I'll be away at 8:30 am CET to Gamescom (and I don't have internet over there) so any question you might want to ask, pose them now!

edit://
And add some context so I don't start stumbling over words or equal trying to decypher what you actually wanted to know!

Ask Fernando:

Are you still working on high-resolution textures for the first item pack, and will the second item pack (just announced) ship with high-resolution textures?

Will any of the weapon models (most of which only have low resolution textures, even the vanilla and Day 1 DLC ones) ever get hi-res textures?

Any news on the next patch? (This one probably isn't really worth asking, because he can't really say anything, but why not, if he's standing in front of you.)

And when he gets ready to walk away, ask him if a Grey Warden falls off a griffon would the griffon try to catch him or would it just let him fall. And when he gives you that "What the hell?" look, snap a picture. :-)

Anyway DragonAgeWiki says the screenshot is about Hawke riding a dragon or something very close!

It's true, he is on a dragon. Whether this signals a one-off mount or just a cutscene is anyone's guess. A lot of people say it's Flemeth.

If he does ride a dragon, it'd be kind of cheesy, not to mention once a again screwing up the lore. Dragons are smart and viscious, not friendly things that can be used as mounts like horses.

Could "riding a dragon" have been mistaken for finishing a dragon? Was there a saddle? Was Hawke waving a cowboy hat in the air?

I don't really think it would screw up the lore....after all, where talking about a dragon age, so similar things are possible. And the fact that he rides a dragon does not necessarily mean the creature it's cute and cuddly!

They might let cultists that worship them ride them. They seem to have a very symbiotic relationship going on.

And by the way why riding a griffin doesn't screw up the lore and riding a dragon does? Do you really think griffin are much more friendly than dragons?!?

Unless he's riding Flemeth.

Obviously they are since they were kept by Wardens. We can't really know anything about them though, what with them being extinct and all.

No, there's not ...

Generally this gear is not high-level. Still powerful, but not high level and definetely not as powerful as the last Item Pack as far as I can tell. At least for the 2handed weapon this is true, that much I can say.

:( Oh well.  Just saved some money then...thank you for answering though!

+1 cookies/beer/internets.

If that's not part of a Varric exaggerated sequence... just

I suppose I should withhold judgment, but if there's some kind of mount system being introduced... I can think of lots of stuff I'd have liked to see before mounts.

Fair point. Though I have a hard time letting myself believe that Flemeth would let anyone *ahem* "mount" her...

I'm calling it right now. They're living in a wild state on an uncharted island.

I don't like the direction in which we are taking this thread

P.S. Did anyone see Chris Priestly post in this thread earlier before swiftly deleting it? Never got to see it though. We demand answers(again)!
