my schedule for gamescom on saturday. arrive at 9am. sprint towards the EA booth in hall 6. play the mass effect demo and pick up as much mass effect swag as possible.
ensure i'm free at 2 pm for the presentation.
btw the last i heard the community lounge was for people who are invited only. is this still true for this year? if so does this mean non invitee's cant go to the presentation?

i think we'll see a playable demo for us to download roughly a month before release at the earliest. but probably a week before release. or at release. thats the time you want people who are considering buying it but havent made up their minds yet to decide. And considering the amount of well known/expensive actors that are involved in ME3. EA is going to do everything to make a profit.

As previously mentioned, I will be waiting for my seat for the ME3 conference on saturday 14:00 (2:00 pm) and will be waiting there approximately four hours ahead.
This is an open invitation for anyone interested to join in for a chat, getting to know some forumites for real (

) and generally just passing the time together.

IF it is allowed (and ONLY if I get a reasonable amount of people partaking) I will try to secure seats for additional four people (not more, I won't be standing there only for eighty forumites showing up the last minute). I would like to emphasis I am not going to stand there the whole time, this is a chance for you people to wait less, not skip the wait (you'll still be waiting about 1-2 hours, as anything else will most likely not be tolerated by either other fans waiting or the security).

So will you please just conferm that there will be NO multiplayer when you host your events? I mean come on....its getting to the point where Bioware is LOSING players rather than GAINING them; people are over-reacting and its causing negative feedback from the RPG fans and POSITIVE FEEDBACK from the little kids who play "Random Kill Death Match Fart Boobs Lul of Rage Booty Duty 5901".

Gotcha; I was thinking it might've been for more "sinister" reasons, such as PS3's version not being up to snuff yet!
It was my first thought... I was like "No PS3 version"? but if that's all it was... Though I really wanted to see both up and running the new ME3 engine and see how they looked. Considering how much the PS3 version changed the look and feel of ME2 with part of the new engine.

I dunno about you guys, but is that Mars in the squad leader demo? if it is it confirms that Garrus and Liara are with you from the start and that frag grenades are open to the soldier early.
It's just my opinion because I thought it was a colony due to the buildings looking similar to those on Horizon and Freedom's Progress and the fact that the sky's red.

Not soldier, that was the Engineer class.

Not soldier, that was the Engineer class.

But the heavy melee attack was a sure give-away. "Incineration Pawnch" practically screams Engineer, unless it is the Infiltrator, but I doubt that.
