It's only annoying if you don't read your messages. She's pretty useful in regards to finding out who's ready for loyalties, rather than having to sit through the boring static load screen to discover Grunt is in fact NOT ready.

Plus, she's cute. And, despite not even being flagged, still has the sanest, most coherent, and most realistic subplot in the game.

Plus, she'll feed your fish.

Even if you don't want to speak with her, you can avoid her by obtaining the loyalty missions and clearing your inbox.

I agree, although for me it's a tie between Ashley and Tali. I honestly could not stand Tali in Mass Effect 2. She was tolerable in Mass Effect, but in 2 she exibited some of the worst traits of bias genocidle tendencies I've ever seen in a character. 

I know the argument that you can't blame her for the Geth turning on their creators, which I always counter with. "Well, that's what happends when you treat others like slaves, you create a civil war."

Play your cards right and she settles down, however. Play your cards right and you may even make her say the first friendly words a quarian has said to a geth in 300 years.

I suppose, but her character still irks me to some degree even without the genocidal tendencies. 

If the spoilers are any indication, I can assure you that you will liek her again. They hit the character development nail on the head.

What's flagged is what you say when she says that mindless palaver about falling backwards and you being there. If you say I'd embrace you, it's supposed to flag that.

Oh. Hrm... well, that's probably just related to the fishtank. Although it is the dirtiest thing she or Shep says, aside from "If there's any touching, you'd better be the one doing it."
That was almost as ****-tacular as some of the femshep in-heat dialogue lines...

Well....he certainly ain't creative.

But the beauty is in the simplicity. Probably paint that on canvas then put in a gallery might make thousends in fact would probably be worth more and more the larger the canvas lol.

This guy for example not hard to imagine his comments.

Jack. Her dialogue before her loyalty mission was the most painful set of dialogue I had to listen to. It goes from her being completely normal hanging out in her crappy anti-social den to saying some crazy nutzo stuff about bugs in her head. Then during the loyalty mission she says crap like, "i'm one mean ****, but I'm vulnerable." Make up your mind you batshi crazy bimbo. Her issues bothered me and I wanted to space her. In each and every one of my playthroughs (even the one where shep nails her) I made sure to call her stupid when she balks at the idea of getting on the Normandy after seeing the Cerberus markings.

Her childhood was hell, it's pretty understandable that she's kind of screwed up. And the line you quoted was her going through some turmoil because she was being reminded of what it was like to be a vulnerable child.
