I don't see why not.
I don't either. He helped dispell many rumors with his thread that Bioware either couldn't or wouldn't do themselves. He helped them out. I don't see how a little appreciation on their part through an easter egg would hurt anyone.
There's a difference between dispelling rumors, and blindly clinging to "Bioware is always right, Bioware would never do anything wrong". Phaedon falls into the second catagory. He quite literally refuses to see, or address criticism or counterpoint, reposting the same quotes endlessly despite the arguements that bring it into question. Review the ME3 Multiplayer thread, he posts and posts and reposts one quote, without dealing with the counterpoints that call the ambiguity into question.
Does he coalesce large amounts of good information? Certainly, but he's also Bioware's self-appointed defender, and is thus far unable to deal with counterpoints to his arguements. In that capacity, he's actually more harmful than helpful, because he is not conducive to back and forth debate, which requires individuals to actually debate rather than insult or resort to hyperbole until the opposite parties are tired of repeating the same statements. A review of the Bioware RPG features thread that went over 100 pages demonstrates this, as quite often throughout the thread he resorts to hyperbole or exaggeration, frustrating opposing debaters into abandoning the thread.
As such, I would put forth AlanC9, Il Divo, or In Exile as equal canidates, while they do not coalesce information, they are conducive to good debate and discussion, which in turn fosters a healty community. Equally so, TerrorK as he poses interesting questions that Bioware could datamine to obtain valuable information.
If Phaedon would improve his debating tactics, and actually discuss things instead of repeating ambiguous quotes or clearly wrong data, I'd be right on board even though we don't agree. But I don't see that happening any time soon.
I have seen Phaedon use a lot of eloquent language, but at the same time it can be very dismissive, so I see your point here. As an information broker cameo in ME3 though, I think it seems appropriate and wouldn't mind at all.
Phaedon if you are out there I thank you very much for your confirmed features thread as it has helped me maintain my sanity while waiting (impatiently) for ME3; I agree with your arguments 99% of the time, I am a big Bioware fan myself, and don't 'mean to take a dig at you, but maybe if you very occasionally expressed a view that contradicted the Bioware dogma or used more inviting language when discussing, guys like Gatt9 wouldn't feel put off by conversations with you.

Well I, for one, vote for a climatic fight scene involving Phaedon and Harbinger......with Phaedon eventually outmaneuvering the bastard, all the while saying "Elementary, my dear Harby."

Question: Is it pronounced FEE-don or FAY-don?

Put Terror_K and Gatt9 in as a couple of bystanders discussing how the creators of Galaxy of Fantasy went too mainstream.
Preferably as wheezing Volus's.

I like that idea. Phaedon and Javier should be a decective duo. Stand aside Sherlock and Watson.
In fact, screw an easter egg, I'm thinking a spin off game.
